Orr Keen on Permanent Switch
at 12:23:17

May I be amongst the first to say welcome Bradley.

The old cliched new signing sayings cut little ice with me but in the way you spoke I genuinely do believe you are excited to be here and I'd like to welcome you and hope you have a long, enjoyable stay.

Town Confirm Orr Loan
at 11:27:35

C'orr! An Orr-some signing. Will finally have some Orr-ganisation at the back now under Mick. I am in Orr of the great man already. I like this signing. I may even have an Orr-gasm.

U21s Lose to Swans
at 13:47:40

Fair enough Joe. But it's not played on paper ;)

I am merely saying an U21 match is sometimes a chance to try out players, formations, get people fit and so on. It is akin to a pre-season friendly.

It's hardly a valid indicator of anything at all.

U21s Lose to Swans

Sorry Big Foot but if the team we put out might be good enough to start a Capital One Cup game why is it that Swansea aren't in the same position?

In all honesty being a Premier League side their team was likely stronger than ours. So why should we automatically win?

McCarthy's Wolves Scouts Depart
at 11:42:30

Well they no doubt were part of the set up that suggested Ebanks-Blake from Plymouth for £150,000 or so (although McCarthy may simply have fancied him). Same goes for Kightly from Grays for peanuts, who then moved for £7m odd to Stoke and Jarvis for about £300,000 from Gillingham who then moved to West Ham for £10m.

You have Elokobi from Colchester. Wayne Hennessey I think may have been bought in (although he may have been academy - remember them loaning him to Stockport).

Whether McCarthy was involved or Bowman there's no doubt they took a lot of players from the lower leagues for next to nothing and they went on to be decent Premier League players capable of being sold on for £5m - £10m.

Regardless of who was responsible it means these people will be on our staff. All good.

Town Topic: Who Next for Town?
at 13:38:57

Who knows! The one positive is Jewell suggesting Clegg and Evans have been supportive. May have been one of the conditions of him walking 'mutually' but let's hope that is actually true.

I think Tisdale and Di Canio would be good shouts (albeit Di Canio is a loose cannon but he wouldn't take any rubbish) and it could be too big a task for Tisdale.

Not sure an old head is what the club needs but may be what the players need who seem unruly.

Edgar Davids could be a good shout. In London with Barnet, looking to manage and could be a bright young thing? Obviously he could be another Roy Keane but then again so could anyone given their first job.

I'd like us to get someone elses manager. Someone doing a good job elsewhere like Bolton have with Freedman. It may cost but ultimately could be the best signing we make in recent history.

Town Topic: Are Town Fans Overreacting to Bad Start?
at 09:45:21

Put simply we all love the club and we hate that it is going down the pan.

The players will have adulation and have their name sung when they do their job properly. When they put in 100% effort we will respond kindly.

But when they are not doing their job, not playing well and express our displeasure they should NOT be attacking us.

Totally out of order.

Town Close In On N'Daw
at 09:24:42

Mr Jingles

Have you heard of St Etienne? Were you there in 1981? Do you know anything of football? Are you from this planet?

Would you turn down a player surplus to requirements at Barcelona? You do realise that some clubs are better than us right? That their players that get released might be our best players? You do understand yes?
