I will say again, he had couple of good games but didn’t show that he was the finished article, long way to go! Compare him to Encisco, he really had something about him and looked every bit a prem player. Omari would have an amazing season in the championship! Annoys me when people say short career, even a player earning 10k a week will earn more in 3 years than i will in 52 years, totally irrelevant!
Yes poor advice could have ruined his career but he came out of it after we helped him on so many levels, personally i think he could have stayed and repaid something back to the club! Burnley will be in a relegation battle for sure, could have enjoyed a promotion challenge here, maybe more to his reason for moving than we know, players and their agents have in a lot of cases got a lot to answer too! |

Sort of agree with tractorboybig in as much as i dont think he did prove himself in the premier league however he will be missed if he goes, he will surtely rip up the championship for sure this time around.

AS for Muric, he is poor on so many fronts and i certainly cant see him being sold and us getting our money back so will be going out on loan!

Sometimes people want change and with a World Cup coming up Burgess I expect is likely to be a first choice for his new club, Tuanzebe appears to want out and accepted a one year deal , how long a deal did town offer? Axel and Burge were obviously offered better deals elsewhere than WE offered them to stay - the outcome being we lose two Premiership Quality Defenders for NOTHING in return.
So Blueboy who was offered what?? Why have Burnley only given him a one year deal, I would guess we offered longer?

The lack of appreciation in his statement “ it was an easy decision “ would have been nice for him to thanked the club!
Years ago Jason Cundy was out injured, the official statement at the time was a wound wasn’t cleansed properly before stitched together and infection had set in. Sometime later it emerged his omission was because of testicular cancer. I find it strange the Tuanzebe household didn’t have a dishwasher, maybe in the future we will know more. But one thing I do know I cut my hand at work and I struggled to get my money. Bet he got paid in full, town looked after him very well. I don’t buy this it’s a short career, most players ( top level) will earn more in 2 years than I will in a lifetime doing something they love doing! A bit of loyalty wouldn’t go a miss. Top marks to Dara, got a feeling he will go down as town legend
He’s heading for another relegation season! And we move on!

To be honest I was really pleased O’Shea signed a new long term deal far more important that he stayed. Like others have said should he fail medical at Burnley he can stay away!
