Still no figures blueboy, you quote opinions as facts but as always you don’t have any! Priceless and pathetic! Sometimes people want change and with a World Cup coming up Burgess I expect is likely to be a first choice for his new club, Tuanzebe appears to want out and accepted a one year deal , how long a deal did town offer? Truth is you don’t know what either player was offered, but don’t let facts alter your thoughts. |

Axel and Burge were obviously offered better deals elsewhere than WE offered them to stay - the outcome being we lose two Premiership Quality Defenders for NOTHING in return. So Blueboy who was offered what?? Why have Burnley only given him a one year deal, I would guess we offered longer? Anyway I await the answers as you clearly know more than anyone else!!! |

The lack of appreciation in his statement “ it was an easy decision “ would have been nice for him to thanked the club! Years ago Jason Cundy was out injured, the official statement at the time was a wound wasn’t cleansed properly before stitched together and infection had set in. Sometime later it emerged his omission was because of testicular cancer. I find it strange the Tuanzebe household didn’t have a dishwasher, maybe in the future we will know more. But one thing I do know I cut my hand at work and I struggled to get my money. Bet he got paid in full, town looked after him very well. I don’t buy this it’s a short career, most players ( top level) will earn more in 2 years than I will in a lifetime doing something they love doing! A bit of loyalty wouldn’t go a miss. Top marks to Dara, got a feeling he will go down as town legend He’s heading for another relegation season! And we move on! |

To be honest I was really pleased O’Shea signed a new long term deal far more important that he stayed. Like others have said should he fail medical at Burnley he can stay away! Not having a hissy fit are you blueboy ? Over 2 players leaving, every season players move on! |

Arnie I in return see and take on board your very valid points! However on too many occasions he was so easily dispossessed on other occasions he failed to get the shots off which were his trade mark in the championship. He is going to be a top player but has a very long way to go! |

Linkboy you do realise that the rate the club has progressed in recent seasons has affected the integration of youth into the first team! In the last couple of weeks we have seen players given their first pro deals, let’s see how some of these progress? But the fact remains that we will continue to invest and in the academy. |

Would be a real asset in the championship but I stand by what I said I don’t think on what he produced on the pitch last season was great he struggled at times to make an impact! |

Personally I don’t think he covered himself in glory in the premier league, a few good games but more often than not he looked a little out of his depth, which is understandable as he is very young but he needs more games with us! |

Linkboy but we are investing in the academy, we are pressing for cat 1. We want to see homegrown talent coming through the system, whether that's from nine years of age right the way through to the first team, like a Woolfy (Luke Woolfenden), or whether that's someone we acquire for the 23s and then develop for a couple of years ready for the first team again. "But the academy is a rock solid pillar that we've got to build on." Quote from Ashton! |

No it’s not just you GHS71! I check in at least twice a day for transfer news and it does appear to be very quiet. While as things stand we need 2 midfielders and a striker, which isn’t a lot I still would like to see our dealings done early. |

Would love him back( stranger things have happened )but I do think he would struggle with Tuesday / Saturday schedule! |

Beaties ???? Do I really need to explain. Both wingers and Philogene cost 20mil, so far a massive waste of money, doesn’t look interested and or bothered when he gets on the pitch! Nico looks a fantastic prospect. Can’t believe I needed to explain that to you |

Crawfordsboot, that’s what this forum is for! But how can you disagree with facts whether he stays or goes, the truth remains the same, he has spoken with 4 or 5 clubs about job vacancies since he has been with us and if we didn’t as reported make him one of the top earners with that massive contract last close season he would have surely joined Brighton. And I don’t think he earnt that massive wage in the slightest and I repeat any professional manager would have got 1 home win from the season. I am a KM fan, but he is not beyond Criticism! All very disruptive or do you disagree with that as well! Have a nice day! |

Baxterbasics I have heard from a reliable source that he has spoke with Brentford, let’s not forget he has form for this kind of thing , first Palace the season before last, Man Utd Chelsea and Brighton, the last window, I can’t help feeling he will go if offered another position back in premier league! I stand by what I said and I will repeat it. I don’t want anyone at the club who is not 100% committed to the project here at town. |
