It was very hot cycling into London, actually got quite cool during the night and Sunday morning cycling back to Diss was fine!
The conditions could have been much worser! |

Update :- I completed the ride and it went well without any incidents! Dam Warm and Saturday.

On the 12th July I will cycling 400k in a day to raise money for angels and rainbows, a pregnancy and baby loss charity. Nobody who works for the charity takes a wage so all money raised goes towards the cost of counselling. Many of the volunteers have themselves suffered a loss!
I only started cycling during Covid at the age of 58 now 4 years on I am taking on my biggest ride, I should point out this is a manual 11 gear bike, no power assistance.
The ride starts in Diss around 9am I will cycle to London some parts with others and some parts alone. From London I will cycle to Dunwich on the Suffolk coast through the night and hopefully catch the sun rise. From here I cycle home to Diss and hope to be there before breakfast.
