@ThaiBlue I respectfully disagree. Rotherham didn't have their "urgent discussions" with the Council, police, etc. until 16:30, by which time most Town fans were either in Yorkshire or well en route. @terryf, spot on - with hindsight, qualifying for Europe was the kiss of death, as it really stretched the squad, and we brought in the so-called "big name" players on relatively massive salaries, which (as you say) upset the balance of the team, but also probably changed the dressing room dynamic that got us there in the first place.... |

@Juggsy Well, they obviously can't do it until the previous season has completed, and then summer is difficult due to unavailability of players because of holidays and pre-season... Honestly, I think some people just want something else to whinge about, I really don't see why it's such a big deal..... |

@Henz10 it's not just KM/ITFC's decision, though - it's clear that Kyle actively wants to make more starts, and there's no point in keeping an unhappy player around the squad, as that can be actively detrimental.... I agree, having him available off the bench would be ideal, but if he's fed up with playing that role then it's probably better for everyone if he moves on. |

@Ipswichbusiness, of COURSE he's been brought in to win promotion. I don't think anyone doubts that. But, rather than being "heroically naive", perhaps those of us with a slightly more nuanced view of things appreciate that what he's talking about, here, is the PROCESS - the focus on the next match, and not allowing players and staff to get ahead of themselves. As I said, this is entirely consistent with every single message that's come out from the players - they obviously buy into it, and it's working. But, according to you, it's just "PR tosh".... <yawn> |
