Any stadium upgrades planned this summer? I know we have done so much the last two years and have started the training ground.

Central Midfield

Crying out for an attacking central midfielder, Morsy and Phillips way too defensive and slow. Should only be playing one or another when we have a fitter squad.
Appreciate we have injures but think we lacked that kind of signing in the summer

We are worse off up top this season than last in a highly competitive top league of world football, Delap was meant to be playing out wide that’s my only issue.
For the 2 million odd Sheffield united paid we should have just signed Kieffer Morre and at least had him as an option before the top number 9 signing was even thought about. I guess time will tell but I do worry this might be our biggest failure to date when the stakes are so high to stay up.

I know he isn’t up to match fitness yet but he could be a real good striker.
His ability to get beyond a defence with raw power/speed is great however he needs some shooting practice/ power in his shots.
Achieve that and his going to be a top player

I assume there will be a tour of the ground on Town tv tomorrow evening with the work mostly completed, look forward to seeing the progress from the last 3 weeks of hard work.

Yesterday’s negativity

I can’t believe some people on here criticising the players.
Nobody is going to be given it their all for a mid pre season friendly! Madness to write some of these players off already. “Ben Johnson is rubbish” “what league did Hull play in last season?” Just some of the gems from apparent supports sitting near me yesterday.
As said I believe plenty more will come in before the end of the window and we will stay up. Not sure what some of you were all expecting?
They ain’t going to be spending that sort of money on the ground and neglect the team, this project has to work and they will make it work. Proof is in the pudding from the last 2 seasons, if any team can step up it’s us. Mainly due to our Set up, staff, coaches….. we simply plan better and want it more

Quiet and very muffled!
Hopefully that will be readjusted for the Liverpool game.

Best of luck to this guy, he can sit on the bench in the premier and make appearances in the cup/champions league for villa, let’s face it… will only be 3 games until they are knocked out to a Turkish team you can’t even pronounce 😂
Then be loaned out to a basic club like Stoke for a year next season… yawn
McKenna and the coaches would have made him a superstar at Ipswich and go onto bigger things but if that’s not his bag so be it.
We will identify the next player and turn them into the next big thing whilst he sits and watches being a bit player at Villa.

Seriously we will be fine and whoever comes in will be grateful and become a cult hero unlike this guy who’s going back to be second best and a squad player like he was last year, hence he was sold. Good player, average mentality

Yes McKenna is brilliant and I love him as much as the next guy but Sam Morsy has carried this team for 3 years! He deserves a lot of credit for this squad and their unity.
A fantastic leader and I’m sure whoever is boss next season will love having him as their second in command. He was in the gym yesterday sweating his nuts off on the treadmill, true professional and 100% dedication
A sad day when his time comes to an end
