My post was in response to the claim, that the posters brother in law and wife, were both racist, as they didn't wish to enter into Ipswich town centre because of foreigners. I know a good number of local to me, both elderly and female Ipswich residents, who equally do not believe that the town centre is over welcoming or safe, it does not mean, that they are racist! I do not agree with placing people into specific groups as soon as their viewpoint is different to yours, which is what I took exception too. This happens all too frequently on this message board, whether it be immigration, red or blue, Brexit etc, which is why I generally stay away from entering the discussion. The conversation with the junior doctor, did not take place at the hospital, they were a client of mine. It resulted from a conversation around immigration, where I asked whether they had been racially abused while in the UK. I was told, that during a group discussion at work, this subject was discussed and, the individuals involved in said discussion, agreed that they had received racial abuse both within and outside the work place, but, primarily not by British nationals, but from other immigrants. I was then asked the question about the high percentage of Romanians in Ipswich. I didn't feel the need to drill down into migration numbers or which clinic, ward, department or shift pattern, that they worked to have this viewpoint, I simply answered, that there was no government agreement to send Romanians to Ipswich. The junior doctor worked within the A & E department and, has subsequently moved to Cambridge. The initial post is entirely true. My client base includes people of many different nationalities and, it is very interesting to listen to their experience of living and working in the UK. I hope that this answers the questions posed to my original post. I have no desire to continue any further with this thread and, will resume my policy of staying away from both immigration and political threads in future. |

I have contact with a good number of these "foreigners" who work at Ipswich hospital and, it would perhaps be beneficial for you to have a chat with these foreigners and, listen to their concerns about immigration, before you persecute family members, or would said foreigners also be bracketed into your "racist" category. Its very easy to continually bandy around the word racist as soon as someone has a different opinion to yourself! I was asked by a junior doctor from Iran, do the UK government have an agreement to send all Romanian nationals to Ipswich, as the majority of patients we see and treat are almost 50% Romanian, would they be racist? |

For a number of weeks now, when using my mobile to view the site, as soon as I scroll to read the thread titles, I receive the following: This site can't provide a secure connection guardian-net.life sent an invalid response I will not go into how frustrating the blue line of death on the right hand side is for reading a thread, also when viewing on my mobile. The site is becoming unusable on my mobile, yet, I do not have this problem when accessing the site from my pc! |

Baleba, Szoboszlai and Alexis Mac Allister, no surprise that they are all midfield players, as this is the one area, that I felt needed urgent attention as soon as we were promoted to the Premier League. I also really like what Mitoma offers in his all round game. When the Americans took over from Evans, my hope, was that they would improve upon what remained of our recruitment network. I think that we can all agree that Brighton appear to very much have this area nailed down, which is no surprise, that three of the above names have come from this process! |

From memory, I believe, that Wark was back home in Glasgow on compassionate leave to attend his fathers funeral. We actually missed three penalties, as one had to be retaken, which I believe Beattie was responsible for. |

Then the best aerial defender who was playing, should have been assigned the responsibility, not the central midfielder, who has shown nothing in aerial defensive prowess. |

Again, I maybe mistaken, but watch it back, Cajuste is his marker, Philogene, just happened to be the player who was eventually closest to Maguire, but it wasn't his man. |

Unless I'm mistaken, it was Cajuste who was assigned to mark Maguire. Early in the first half, Cajuste lost Maguire and Palmer made a smart save. Second half corner, we were not so lucky! |

Point of order Texters, I believe that Man Utd were relegated to the 2nd division in 1974 and Spurs in 1977, which I would guess, is within living memory of a good number of Town fans! |

Could it possibly be, that you have admitted to the offence of speeding, provided the police with the information that they have requested, paid the fine and, the court appearance in front of a single magistrate, will solely be to determine the points to be added to your driving licence? |

Very much reminds me of Eric Gates in what he will bring to the team. |

Unless it has changed in recent years, the parking attendants work out of Hadleigh Road Ind Est, not Grafton House. |
 | Forum Thread | Amazon returns at 10:34 12 Jul 2024
Help very much appreciated from those who have regular dealings with purchasing through Amazon. I do not purchase very often through Amazon and, very much wished I hadn't on this occasion. I purchased an item of furniture from a seller called Casart. The item was delivered and, when opened, was found to be damaged to three of the component parts. I repackaged the product and raised a return through Amazon. Amazon accepted the return and supplied a return label with barcode. I have noted that the return label indicates, that postage is required. The item is large and sufficiently heavy to require two people to move, therefore, I guess, not cheap to return. The return label details FDS Corporation Ltd Great Blakenham. Is this the haulier that should collect the item, or the delivery destination when collected? If the delivery destination, how do I organise the collection and, who collects from my home? It doesn't appear to be a straight forward return. I have attempted to contact Amazon and the seller through the Amazon website and by telephone to discuss my situation. Telephone and website all revert to automated questions and answers, which do not permit me to discuss my specific issues. The contact the seller feature immediately reverts to automated questions and answers. The complete system just goes round and round in circles, returning to the point, that states your return has been accepted, which I already know! I have looked up the seller Casart, which indicates, that it is a registered business address from a flat in London and, a customer service address of Bluestem Road in Ipswich. I may take a drive to the address later today. I don't see why I should pay the return costs, which may never be reimbursed and, have the difficulty of taking the oversized heavy item to a collection address, when it should really be collected from my home address. Apologies for the long winded question and, the obvious distraction from discussing whether Philogene is going to sign or not, but any thoughts and advice would be very welcome? |

Quite simple Keno, during the new kit design stage, there were disagreements between either adding or taking away, which equalled to division in the design camp, resulting in multiplying the volume of order for the agreed new kit delivery date. Hope this clarifies the situation for you? |
