The Meadlands Sports and Social Club in Stowmarket is pretty good if you dont mind travelling down the A14. You do have to pay for an annual membership though. They have 4 tables and are £4 ph.

Fry the lamb off to render some of the fat and then follow this recipe, adding the lamb when he adds the raw chicken thighs. It's called a Vindras. Halfway between a Vindaloo and a Madras. I cook a lot of curry's from scratch and this is one of the best one-pot curry's I've ever tried (if you like it hot).

You say that, but a couple of years ago I had a spare ticket vs Wigan in Block Y West stand (the proper posh padded seats) as I wasn't able to go and I actually couldn't give it away for free!

Anyway, I'm just in a huff that I missed out this time and I'm playing my "yeah, but I was there when we were s*#t" card.

I never thought I'd see the day that you couldn't get a ticket for an Ipswich game ever again, so I'm going to stop whingeing now and be thankful that the club is in this position.

Some of us can't though. I had a season ticket from 1991 to 2004 but my job meant that I'd miss too many games to justify it, so I've just bought tickets to matches I can attend since then (around 15 - 17 home games a season).
