itsonlyme - I'm with you here, agree with the way they're playing. No creativity at all, but looking through the side apart from Gwi, Dozzell & Bishop... Technically do we have much to offer? In my opinion we don't.
Shots on target.. yes that's an issue, certainly when your best striker (Jackson yesterday) is sat on the bench. For me, with Gwi out I really don't see us creating much or looking likely to score because we simply don't players that are good enough.
Coaching wise it doesn't look great but i'd be surprised if you could look through our side and pick more than 5 that could play at Championship level.

Everything most of you are saying makes sense, and this isn't in any way defending Lambert at all because I have the same views... However, what is the guy supposed to do when we have 10 first team players injured, and are relying on guys who are playing U23 games to come in and compete at the same level in leagues much higher than they're used to.
With a new manager coming in, he'll have no financial backing either - I don't think the manager is the first person to look at. From a footballing side of things it's not great, however our squad depth isn't good enough. |

As much as he can be partly to blame for results - He's working with a load of rubbish right now. Hurst done the damage early on letting quality players leave and bringing in players that couldn't step up to the mark.
Keep him, re-structure next year, get rid of 50% of our squad and give our youth a chance as plenty of them are good enough as we've already seen.

I don't think many can say they know enough about him unless watched, and yes it's only a video of his best bits above... However, it would be nice to take a punt on a striker who has an eye for goal but that looks to get in behind which we haven't really had. |

Good decision made. Cowley would be the ideal replacement I think. Young, experience with lower league players and knowing quality when he sees it. We can get someone who's been from club to club and loan deals for players who used to be quality (with a high pay package) or bring someone in who knows how to work with minimal budget and find a way to make it work. |

@ BROTHERBLUE1974......... You haven't got a clue mate... Yeahh lets get him out and we'll be back to square 1 again... Give a new manager a short amount of time to try and turn things around and then be shouting for him to get sacked aswel.... Typical ipswich fan... Never goes to game but yet has the cheek to say get him out. Next time we win at home you'll be one of the fans that's chanting 'paul jewell's barmy army'... Enough said!!! |
