In the prediction league .I had Leeds as champions with two points ahead of Leicester and us one the same points with Leicester going up with a better goal difference. Obviously I hope its all wrong but i did it over a month ago.

Not very pretty but an away win in this league is not to be sniffed at. The first half i thought we were excellent, really dominating the game. The second half we knew they would throw everything at us and they did. As chappers said during a long hard season sometimes you have to go away from home and dig in to hold a lead or draw.

Not an easy game for either side, we are or at least have been suspect at the back for some time now loosing early goals. We still outscore the opposition more often than not which is obviously a good thing. Plymouth have plenty of firepower in their team and if we are not totally on the ball from the first minute this could be a long afternoon on the south coast.
With a fully fit squad you always fancy us doing something late on in the match with the gaffas substitutions. Hopefully the absence of Broady and Burns wont come to cost too much to the team.
A win would really send a statement.

Tighten up the defence and we will have half a chance. Chappers should start on the bench as should Burns imho. Burns never scores away from PR so starting from the bench should shake things up.
I would also start the fridge and axel as the back two as this could shore us up a bit against a team that does´nt score a lot. Best of luck tonight lads. |

Can't really argue with the above post. Of course it's disappointing not to beat 10 men or a struggling Qpr side but its a long season with lots still to play for. The squad is a good one but we do lack in some areas. Bottom line is if we were offered this position where we are,half way through the season we would have jumped on it.

I was nervous at the start of the season with Walton being injured but i knew we had a decent keeper in Vaz.
However i could´nt have known just how good he would prove to be. Outstanding and even with Christian back there is no way he could dislodge Vaz on current form.

No doubt a very tough fixture ,we would do very well to get something from this game. I fear we will need many goals as our defence is not too solid as of lately.
We can however score goals and teams know we score from all over the park.
