The Portman Road car park price hike
at 18:32 7 Sep 2025

More games: 60 quid more for anyone parking there this season for every game.
I personally don't park there (I tend to walk from the top of Christchurch Park), but there are plenty of older folk - who don't qualify for a Blue badge - who park there out of necessity.

Where's the pressure on Farage to resign for avoiding stamp duty?
at 18:28 7 Sep 2025

But the BBC will, no doubt. It's like he alone is the official opposition.
Zero chance of him resigning anyhow: he's a morally-bankrupt grifter.

Interesting they aren't dropping the cost at all now we're relegated. Like all councils, they are run abysmally, especially economically: how many times do you see the same job done twice or even 3 times, and that's before we talk about Icelandic banks

Currently in a 'Vereinslokal' (team pub) in Gelsenkirchen

That old Staples building area was crying out to have a permanent ITFC social,bar/Cafe. Maybe one day....

Great idea: the nearest we have is probably The Sir Thomas Wolsey, but that's really only a fan pub on matchdays.
Newcastle has the Three Bulls Heads and The Strawberry which are pretty much NUFC haunts 365 days of the year.

A 37 minute interview with MA and KM on TownTV this evening…
at 13:25 5 Sep 2025

There's a word that would win you Countdown for that: ends in -housery.
However we got up from L1 under similar circumstances, and I just can't see any team running away with it this season, so if we can be top 6 even as late as March, I think we could nick automatic promotion.
The cliché is true: it's a marathon not a sprint.

I think he will go in January. 29 years old and "not good enough for the Prem".
Feel sick typing it.

Utterly strange to me that we seem to have moved away from

Feels like we're a development squad. Are the new investors driving this?
Either way, with the loss of most of our promotion heroes, there's guaranteed to be a toxic atmosphere at PR if we continue to make heavy work of the league.

Yep. It's all on KM now: he's taken what he inherited from Gamechanger/Cook, and done wonders. Yes, Chaplin and Woolfy were maybe not PL players, but we are in the Championship again, and their experience of 23-24 would be vital imo.
I'm feeling disenfranchised and demoralised after the highs of last week's additions.

I want McKenna to be here for years to come
at 11:26 31 Aug 2025

Money spent on players doesn't equal success (just ask Man U), but nor does a churn of managers (just ask Man U).
KM needs time to blend these players (10 new this window, and 8 from just the last 12 months) into a cohesive unit. However, as others have said, time will be measured in weeks, not months. Equally, remember it took him half a season to really get that double-promotion side purring.

I could see Woolfy thriving in European leagues: maybe a lower French Ligue 1 side?

And for Nuñez:

We'll knit as a team when it's too late. I'm not saying that now!

Totally agree. Some people really just need a night out to get it out of their systems, but these days stay in and smash their keyboard instead. Sad times.

Love your positivity. I think we'll come good, but might be too late for top 2.

Have you also messaged in to Radio Suffolk? It's the sort of thing they might help with by way of a shout out on air.

Two good teams at this level.

The Championship is far more exciting than the PL. Don't get me wrong; promotion was great. However, the EPL is boring, with ridiculous gimmicks and of course the fun-sapping VAR.

We’ve dodged a car crash on that one
at 09:09 12 Aug 2025

It's quite possible he lied to KM and MA when he joined: there's no way we'd take on someone who was recently arrested for what he did. Such a shame, but he was a risk that didn't work out. Luckily most have recently became the club does huge amounts of background research on a player.
