Watchig their match Vs Oxford on Sky (I know before you roast me) but the standard really shows the gulf between the Chump and the Prem. They really are very very average verging on poor. And to think, their muppet supporters think they are a better side than us and that the only ITFC player who would get into their side is Delap!!!! Deluded, entitled muppets |

And a couple of years ago, I met this fine fellow in the Coop in Wickham Market. As expected, he was charming & patient in the face of my 'star struck' inane questions. |

The Oxford Dictionary definition of a Spiv is: ''a man, typically a flashy dresser, who makes a living by disreputable dealings'' I really hope Mark Ashton is alerted to your post partcularly the last element of your post where you have accused him of ''making a living by disreputable means'' |

LOL [lol Remember last season when he paraded like 'Billy Big Balls' when we played the #YellowFilth at PR - turns out, when the chips are down, he actually doesn't have any!! |

There is a need to be honest and frank about your observation. Even when we in decline under Evans, and for all almost of the football time before then, we have attracted consistently more national media attention then Norwich. Why? Essentially because Norwich have never really done or achieved anything of national interest. Lately you have been a yo yo club which is simply not of much interest outside of Norfolk. Before that what national news angle did you have? Genuinely not very much. The reason why Ipswich still commands national media interest is, in part due to legacy issues: Ramsey's remarkable team, Robson's outstanding teams and even Burley's 2001 5th place finish. Ironically, because we had been successful in the past, even our decline was newsworthy. Therefore, over the past 2 seasons our resurgence has sparked renewed national interest (and a warm knowing smile) in our now positive trajectory. Whether you like it or not, Ipswich Town FC was, and still is, a popular and well-liked club outside of the usual rival fans' myopic claptrap. Perhaps the unique culture of the club under the chairmanship of John Cobbold, still has a bearing on those in the football media. |

You're posting on our site once again: why do you do it? Attention seeking? #TheYellowFilth have 2 forums of their own: 1. WOTB 2.The Pink Un Post there |

We'll see, but for those sterling tractors fans who are lucky enough to be going to Crumbling Road on Saturday, it's time. Let's reprise to 21 April 2011 at Portman Road and remember the crowing of the #TheYellowFilth. But now we can sing: ''TOTL@CR' because as we start the match, we will be. |

Onr thing I genuinely never undestand is why oppo fans register on their rvals' sites? I understand that folks like to visit oppo sites but registering and then posting is strange. Is there simply an underlying 'attention seeking' motive? So why are you posting on this site? Contextually your opnion is worthless and of no consequence. Woudn't you be better served posting whatever you feel the need to, on sites having your team as the focus? [Post edited 1 Apr 2024 11:04]

I'm really not sure what you mean Phil? If somebody has a ticket but cannot attend, can they not offer it on here and is somebody is looking for a ticket can they post a request on here? |

Hi A slim chance I know, but I'm staying over in London Feb 14 (work commitments) and have been trying to nab a ticket without any success. If at the last (or any) minute you find yourself unable to attend, I'd love to hear from you. Cheers E |

Since the draw, and prior, you have drawn comfort from the fact that we haven't beaten you in 14 years. This is your consolation, your narrative of refuge. Your perspective, therefore, is entirely historic. You vista is backward looking. So here's the rub. Given that you have no prospect of transformational investment and no access anymore to parachute payments, your future is at best stagnant at at worst bleak. We fully understand, therefore, why you look backwards; looking to the future is clearly scary and depressing for you. You are welcome to the past, we have the future. Oh and one more observation. You drew one battle on Saturday but have long since lost the war. |
