| News Comment | McCarthy: Year Has Seen Big Turnaround at 16:36:29
MattinLondon Because we play dull boring football and manage to scrape a few wins. I was lucky enough to watch Ipswich in the glory days when we had no money but the players were coached to play exciting flowing football and try to win games. |
| News Comment | McCarthy: Year Has Seen Big Turnaround at 15:24:06
Lets get in the real world, our squad is no where near good enough! We lack height, pace and creativity. Everyone keeps going on about Taylor lets remember that most of us would have got the sack for doing what he did when off work sick with a bad foot! Good on Mick for not playing him!!! |
| News Comment | Town 2-2 AFC Bournemouth at 22:03:17
Tell me why they did not take Wordsworth off in the first half. He was injured after two minutes and hobbled around all half, it was as if Bourmouth were playing against ten men. |
| News Comment | McCarthy: Up to Us to Get Crowds Back to Portman Road at 09:41:09
Reading was £27, upper north stand was £35 Saturday Ipswich should be slated for there pricing. I went to watch Munich's championship team last year, great facilities, excellent atmosphere only 14 euro's. I appreciate the club want to attract kids but I do feel adults are subsidising there very cheap season tickets. |
| News Comment | Anderson Coming to Terms With New Role at 09:30:00
Anderson is making excuses for a poor performance on Saturday, wide or narrow I can't see him making the grade. He lacks pace and can't go past players. |
| News Comment | Mings Signs New Contract at 18:29:52
I thought he was excellent against Reading, not the same attacking qualities as Cresswell but good defensively and a bit of height. I will be amazed if Cresswell hasn't gone by the end of the transfer window, so long as MM has time to do a few deals. |
| News Comment | McCarthy: Hewitt Can Be Top Class at 13:51:31
No exciting news coming out of Portman Road then, like adding some quality to the squad. He will be telling us next that Murphy's one for the future and he has 20 goals a season in him. Can't wait till 2015, should be a good season! |
| News Comment | McCarthy Weighing Up Changes at 16:17:52
Let's be honest, the whole squad is only average and there certainly isn't any competition for places. MM has been talking up the Cresswell transfer for 2 weeks now, my guess to try and raise some money for much needed reinforcements. |
| News Comment | McCarthy: Should Have Put Them to The Sword at 22:40:00
MM keeps biggin' up very ordinary players. He needs to be given money to spend on Stearman, a quality midfielder and a striker. How he thinks Skuse is a premiership player is beyond me. Tunnicliffe looked keen when he came on and should be given his chance. Murphy seemed like he couldn't be bothered but then he hasn't got much competition. |
| News Comment | JET: Me and Mick Didn't Click at 13:47:00
Like Mick said you never earned the right to be called Jet, he sussed you out right at the start!! |
| News Comment | McCarthy Delighted With Display Despite Defeat at 19:31:28
I thought Mings and Hewitt done OK, Edwards had a poor game and looked unfit as did a few of our players. Centre of midfiekd needs to be sorted and we need a prolific goal scorer. Better atmosphere in the pub than in the ground we must have peaked too soon!! |
| News Comment | McGoldrick to Finally Sign at 12:22:58
I hope I'm proved wrong but McGoldrick lacks pace and is only average and Tabb looks like a little boy chasing shadows in a grown ups football team. I like Frank and think he could be a quality player in the future. Please sign Stearman he will be key to us doing well this saeson. |
