Part of the joy of watching football is the entertainment factor of good football. Winning isn't everything. I remember the game away at Charlton a couple of seasons ago we scored in the first 5 minutes and then the game feel apart in to a long ball contest. Came out of that game feeling like I had just witnessed a massive defeat not a 1-0 win. This was all down to the style of football. I will support the team through thick and thin but Milne effectively saying the style of football doesn't mean anything is total tripe. The dream is playing well and winning games, at the moment, not only are playing a sh**e brand of football we can't buy a win even against relegation threatened fodder. How we are still 8th is mind boggling. |

Overall then Joe Royal did a better job. Both have the same points per game but Joe served up more goals at both ends. More goals = more entertainment. I would much prefer to watch a 3-3 draw than a 0-0 one even though the 'result' is the same. |

Its a short term loan - lets see what he can do. We do need some cover in the striker/winger position. Stewart has picked up another knock, S hunt can't play every game, Henshall & bajner are still a work in progress and collison is never going to be fit. He is experienced and will be good cover for the lengthy xmas period. |

For al the moaners out there check out the form table who is top by 2pts. This is a hard league you can't win every game. If we keep winning at home and pick up draws away from home you are basically going to get promoted. |

I don't understand why people find this a bad move. Taylor needs game time to be match fit for Championship level. If he goes out on loan and plays 5 games (450 mins) it will speed up that process compared to 5 x 30min stints at best if he stays. He would have to come off the bench 15 times for half an hour to get the same game time. That means he may be match fit in January, where as if the loan goes well he comes back start of November ready to play. 2 whole month of football earlier. As Mick says that is better for the player and ITFC in the long run.

I got the impression later in the season the game plan changed so our midfield was essentially told to lump it if they were in certain areas of the pitch to keep it tight and at least get a point. Ndaw was a rock in MM early games and passed well (Birmingham away) I would gladly have him back. |

Notts_tractor Watford have made leaps and bounds as they basically are a totally different team this season than last. They have 11 loan players and 7 are international meaning they can actually play all of them at once if they want. Yes we haven't gone forward under the last few managers however any team in the championship that has that much quality inserted would look like Watford do now. |

I don't know why everyone is panicking about football experience. They have a lot of business experience and that is the side they are running. We have MM to guide the football side of things, I would assume he will be the football experience when it comes to transfers etc. What is wrong with everyone you would have though the club had announced we were going in to administration. WOW! |

Would be a good addition. I chatted to a forest fan last night and he said he would be gutted to see him go as he is a really good keeper. He thinks it is mainly mcleish clearing house wanting to make a statemnet bringing in his own players. |
