In that case, it would be best to leave out Slovakia as well. Unfortunately, Orban and Fico (Slovak PM) appear to be singing from the same hymn sheet these days re. Ukraine. |

Might be worth remembering that Bratislava was pretty much a provincial city until 1993, so it lacks the majesty of an imperial capital like Vienna. Yeah, honestly, you can do the sights in a day. If you’re going soon, it’s time to celebrate the wine harvest and drink lots of burčiak – young, cloudy, unfermented wine. Delicious. Perhaps you could prolong your stay by taking a winetasting tour of the cellars in the Rača district (I'm in Bohemia and we all head for south Moravia - which is similar - this time of year). |

How many times in our history has there been a “band of brothers” feel about the club? Whether that means “against all odds” (Sir Alf? Burley? Kieran?) or a well-oiled machine that’s pretty much settled over the years (Sir Bobby)? And call me a soppy romantic, but if we do go up this year, could we ever have the same affection for the players as we did for the double-promotion squad? Or are we really on a 20-to-25-year cycle and that's it until the grave (for me)? |

I'm probably (almost definitely, if you remember it differently and have explained how you remember it) wrong, but I don't recall being able to watch replays last time Town were in the Championship when I bought match passes (I was not a subscriber). Or maybe it's different in different parts of the world. Still trying to work out my best strategy here in the Czech Republic. |

Exactly. In our position, I think it's a case of later rather than sooner this window, as our targets will currently be hoping for a PL club to step in. And when they don't, that's where we come in - towards the end of the window. |

GBP 8 per month on CANAL+ in the Czech Republic, purportedly showing all games. So, if true, works out cheaper for me than TownTV (and commentary in Czech doesn't bother me). No idea if people outside the country/EU(?) can subscribe. |

A quick scan of the Czech media (and comments underneath the articles) throws up the following: he has hinted at regrets that he didn't take the offer on the table last autumn, he wants to stay in Britain, he simply wouldn't be good enough for the PL anyway, and there's been a lot of talk about his situation/skill level being similar to Fulham's Slovak GK Rodák (first teamer when they won promotion, then dropped in the Premier, then back to number one back in the Championship, then dropped again in the Premier...) |

On the other hand, Croatia's game plan looked similar to Ipswich's and they came undone fairly quickly against a quality side. Looking ahead to the Premier League, that worried me a bit. |
