FA Cup Replays Scrapped
at 13:41:24

It's sad that they can't get rid of a few Champions League games or make that a knock out cup only if it is necessary to ease fixture congestion.
There should be a deal in there to give the lower league clubs a bigger share of the revenue if they draw after 90 minutes.

Carrick: Mixed Feelings
at 18:13:38

MidlandsBlue92 When you draw and you had chances to win of course both teams are going to think that they could have won it!
The goal they scored took advantage of a poor pass to Hladky who refused to give away a throw and instead started off their attack. I get that it's good to keep the ball in play, but we have to learn that if there is no good option of a ball to play, then if you can't just hoof it upfield, just smash it into the stands!

Ipswich Town 1-1 Middlesbrough - Match Report
at 20:08:25

Broganonthewing The people complaining have probably never achieved anything in their lives because they don't seem to understand what a struggle achieving anything is. There is a reason why not every team is in with a shout of promotion, it's bloody difficult to do it and the shots that were going in earlier in the season are being blocked, or hitting the post. It is very fine margins. Obviously, it is results that ultimately count, but this performance especially has to give us more confidence than the Leeds and Leicester supporters. Let's hold our nerves!

OliveR16 Exactly, I'm perfectly fine with each match having to win one less match to guarantee promotion! It was 6 wins to guarantee, now it is 3, but that might even be less by the time we play our next match in two weeks time. Honestly, I'm emotionally drained from it and I'm happy for the 3 weeks off!

Leaders Leicester Lose at Plymouth
at 23:36:29

Leicester have now lost two of the more favourable looking fixtures and now have to deal with two very tough home games against West Brom and then Southampton followed by an away match against Preston who could still be in the hunt for the playoffs, then Blackburn could mount a surprise on the last day of the season if they need the points to survive.
All of that is irrelevant to us, we just need to win tomorrow!

Gforce The material difference is that 5 wins would guarantee us promotion, whereas now 4 wins and a draw will do it! Hopefully we knock out one of those wins tomorrow, and we'll see how generous Leeds are feeling because it's not easy to win every remaining match.

Morsy: Our Biggest Strength Has Been How We Bounce Back

KMcBlue Morsy definitely has areas of his game to improve. It doesn't matter if you give away free kicks on the half way line, but don't give them multiple chances to score from a good area.

Morsy: Our Biggest Strength Has Been How We Bounce Back
at 09:46:20

It says a lot about some "supporters" who are much more vocal when we lose. We could do without those people. The team deserve some light criticism and it was not good enough, but it wasn't an embarrassing result or performance. A true supporter will be there believing in them to put things right. The one thing you can say about us this season is that we come back very well from a defeat. Let's win the next one and see where that leaves us!

Morsy: Our Biggest Strength Has Been How We Bounce Back
at 09:42:39

Bert I don't think the guy who said we could "blitz" the league has watched many if any of our matches. Does anyone remember the beginning of the season? Sunderland was a tough match, then we played QPR who were supposed to be the whipping boys of the league and we struggled to a 1-0 win. The remarkable thing about this season is just how many times we have come out on top of very fine margins. Even that 6-0 against Wednesday was tight at the start.
A draw would have been a fair result. The ref made a couple of weak decisions for the freekicks, and changed the momentum of the game. That was a stroke of luck for Norwich and the freekick that they scored was a bit of skill and even then Hladky was close to getting his fingers on that. Norwich didn't really create anything and neither did we. Our touch on the ball was really bad in that first half stopping us from putting anything together. That performance wasn't any worse than a lot of the matches that we have drawn or lost.

Wagner: My Players Wanted it More
at 18:42:45

It does seem like Norwich care more about beating us or not losing to us than anything else. Our players were looking at 3 points lost with a chance to get the same number of points again in the next match. For them it seemed like a cup final.
The thing is, it doesn't help getting too emotional. We play our best when we stick to the process. There is a big difference in the state of the game. Because they went ahead they didn't need to show skill they just needed to show grit. We were not good with our passing or control and that stopped us from making more chances. That had nothing to do with desire.
I'd rather criticize the supporters (myself included) for making such a nervous atmosphere in the build up and in the stadium. We can't help feeling the pain of being so bad for many years, but this team do not need our baggage.
As NthQldITFC said already, I'm over that loss already because we have one less game to play and still have things in our hands. If you could guarantee that Leeds and Leicester both lose, I would have taken a 1-0 loss to Norwich. I think a lot of our fans would switch places with Norwich in the league to get a win against them.
