I'm not saying they're the same... Of course Jim. Played at a higher level but his style just reminds me of Magilton. A midfielder with some edge.

Morning all, still feeling fantastic after the game on Tuesday, like us all I'm really enjoying watching Town again, fallen in love all over again.

One thing I've noticed, and it might just be me but Morsy really reminds me of Jim Magilton.. He's niggly, always tries and wins the ball back, big communication in the middle of the park. Something I feel we've missed for such a long time.

I was in exile in the Newmarket Road End (what a sh1t hole BTW) with my brother who's a Cambridge fan.

Edmundson lost his sh1t with Hladky when the Cambridge player put it over the bar. Didn't see the build up due to trying to remain inconspicuous but lots of F*#k offs from Edmundson. The body language suggests our defensive team haven't gelled in the slightest as well as their performance.

Sorry that's absolute rubbish. Having worked with Max trackside hearing every radio message between him and GP.. Thats completely wrong.

The telematary showed this? Atlas doesn't show your intention.. Just what gear and revs you've selected amongst other things.

The whole Mercs knowing etc at Silverstone isn't the entire truth.

Theres a fierce rivalry.. I know lads in the Merc garage. On a Sunday they're the enemy but socially were mates.. The same is with the drivers too... Apart from 1! I'll Let you be the judge...

See so much sprouted online about Max and Red Bull etc.. And lewis to be fair. The social side of the fans is so toxic.. You don't know the drivers.. You can't possibly say they're one thing or another.. Max is a decent lad.

Don't get the hate for Max..

Yeah Lewis asked.. He knows damn well that will go out on broadcast. Celebrating when Max had gone to hospital. That's OK though?

I'm pretty sure Max knew he was fine.. I mean trying to reverse when he can see the other driver trying to get out the vehicle?

Problem is F1 have fans who don't have the mindset of a racing driver. They have split seconds to make decisions on what to do.. Silverstone was bad.. But long and short it was still a racing incident.. As today was.

Won't have it that Max doesn't care.. Absolute tosh!

There's not a single driver who 'doesn't take safety into consideration'. Broad sweeping statement.. You don't know the lad.

What rules have been brought in because of Maxs driving?

Max isn't an arseholes.. He certainly wouldn't put anyone in danger on purpose. Dont think anyone on the grid would to be honest.

Max marginally at error.. But its a racing incident.. Unlike Silverstone which was a joke.

I think that's what I'm getting from it all...

We needed the changes.. Badly..

But these players just don't seem to be a team, no one seems to be grabbing an amazing opportunity by the horns.. No one is in control.. We're so far from being a team its untrue.

I hope Morsy is the man for this... Such a shame we will have to wait!

First post on here so please be kind.

What's your thoughts on the summer cull now? I'm feeling it may have now been too dramatic?

I agree we had got stagnant and lots of players weren't up to standard, but would we have been better to have kept a core and added sensibly?

No doubt some of the signings we've made are fantastic but the defensive issues are probably the worst I've seen in some time.

Thoughts?
