Right, so my boy’s an only child who has a few anxiety issues and lockdown has been a bit up and down for him so we thought we’d try and do something for him he’d really enjoy. On his FIFA game he has got Peterborough into the Carabao Cup Final against Spurs...
Does Downes do a lot of technically incorrect tackling or is just me? Seems to go with the ‘wrong’ foot a lot to my (untrained) eye and also has this stomping (can’t think of a better word) style to some of his tackles. Obviously it’s hugely successful for him, not criticism just unusual I thought.
Plays in that deep lying playmaker role for England, a la Harry Winks, but looks too small and weak to play there in League 1. Play him further up the pitch he doesn’t quite seem to work either. But the lad clearly has talent and I don’t think it’s a lack of trying either. Would he look better in the Championship? I’ll be honest, I really don’t know what to think.
The replies to this look virtually all positive. I’d be happy to cash-in during January myself. My guess is Norris will return as he’s not getting enough games so if there’s one out there (and keepers are a bit unique) we can get a permanent signing.
