Great news. But I'm not sure I'd want my pension fund investing in ITFC just at the moment! Let's hope this is the start of a long-awaited change in our fortunes and that it's not too late for this season. |
| News Comment | Dozzell: Frustrating Night, Fine Margins Are the Difference at 11:57:31
Looking ahead to next Saturday, Shrewsbury (17th in the league) have also played 9 times against the top 7 clubs. They've won 4, drawn 2 and lost 3. ITFC? Played 9, won 0, drawn 0, lost 9. That isn't "fine margins" I'm afraid. It's a lack of quality and good management. |

To get this in perspective, consider PL's record so far. 5 points out of a possible 30 or 0.5 points per game. To catch Rotherham we have to score 0.5 points more than them in every one of our last 20 games. It ain't going to happen. We're running on empty guys and today's result is likely to be typical of those in League 1 next year. Depressing times. |
| News Comment | Town Linked With McCarthy Talks at 23:10:58
I suspect that McCarthy would love to be able to show that he could do a better job here than Keano. Not too difficult mind... |
| News Comment | Town Interview Shearer at 21:18:25
From the EADT website: "Despite only being out of the game for two weeks, Coyle is itching for a return. He said: “What I do know is that at whichever club the opportunity arises for me, they're going to be very fortunate, because I'm the best manager I've ever been."" Keep digging Owen |

Maybe he was being interviewed as a striker; on loan from the BBC for a month?! |

Gary Megson's odds have shortened alarmingly: now 3:1 with Coral and third favourite behind Curbs and McCarthy. Please, anyone but him |
| News Comment | Jewell: Same Old Story at 20:58:31
ME/SC touted PJ as a manger with experience at Championship level. Part of that experience was dealing in the transfer market. Granted not all of PJ's signings have proven to be disappointments (Cresswell is a good example), but his track record is generally poor. He better get it right this time around or else those wolves will be having a feeding frenzy, and soon. |
| News Comment | Town Eyeing Norwich Striker at 20:51:54
tomisamos, Didn't say not bidding for Sharp was PJ's fault; but the owner, Chief Exec and manager need to work together. Signing Wilbraham would show a real lack of ambition. Leicester is a similar club to ours in terms of size, history and, currently, wealth. But they seem to want it more than we do at the minute. |
| News Comment | Jewell Hugely Disappointed at 23:20:02
This time last year, when Roy Keane was sacked, we were 19th with a goal difference of -6 and 28 points. Tonight we're 19th with a goal difference of -13 and 27 points. Tomorrow, after Bristol City have played Millwall, we have to drop to 20th, whatever the score in that game. Where is the improvement over the last 12 months? What has the change of management achieved? |
