Jack's cafe, at the traffic lights nx to sainsbury Hadleigh Rd. 5min walk to ground. Haven't been that way into town for over a year..hope its still there. Proper fry up, 👌. Old haunt of the Town players back in Sir Bobby's time. |

Oldies like me singing ... "And its all gone quiet over there, It's all gone quiet over there, And it's all gone quiet, All gone quiet All gone quiet over there" Millwall & Chelsea fans at PR singing.. "Your gonna get your f***ing heads kicked in!" (Repeat multiple times) |

Ian Juryeff back in 89. On loan from Orient.Went to a reserve match at PR and he scored, Town were looking for a striker at the time. Thought he looked good. Signed on loan but just the two appearances. |

Did it with my kids last season. Exactly same by what you've described. We did line up in the tunnel in 2 rows to replicate the teams walking out and I suggested why not pipe in a recording of the crowd roar as the teams emerge to give it a slightly 'real' experience. Like you say well worth the money. |

 | Forum Reply | Swindon have a new manager at 11:29 26 Oct 2024
Yes he was, in his autobiography he writes that he was very keen to get the job and was interviewed for it. When Magic got the job, he asked Sheepshanks what counted against him in the interview so he could learn moving forward. Sheepshanks said he'd impressed them highly but he had concentrated too much on what he'd achieved so far in his career and not enough on what he knew of Town and its playing squad etc. Met Ollie couple of years back in the directors box (birthday treat from my daughter) when we played Plymouth.Absolute gentleman. His book I'd highly recommend, 'Ollie', its funny, inciteful and shows what a very decent man he is. I wish him well at Swindon. |

Look Norwich just now, announcing KM had received his honorary Doctorate from U of S for taking Luton from League 1 to the Premiership. |
 | Forum Thread | Town cut ties with analytics firm at 09:54 20 Oct 2024
Town have had to cut ties with the data company Jamestown Analytics as the firm have an exclusivity deal with Brighton. Town can no longer use them as they are now a Prem club. Jamestown are an off-shoot of Starlizard, the betting and data company set up by Brighton owner Tony Bloom. To avoid a potential conflict of interests, Jamestown can only work for one club in each division. Remains to be seen how much of an effect that has on Towns recruitment in Jan. |

My first ever game at PR. Under the lights, fantastic. I was 13, my Dad drove us from our home in South London. I'd been following them since I was 10 long distance with only sat tv tele printer to find out the result! No Internet, mobile phones etc then. The Big Match on a Sunday with Brian Moore was obviously London team biased but would occasionally have us/scum as 2nd or 3rd match via Anglia tv highlights. Prior to Skeid match, only time I'd seen us live was a 1-4 defeat at crystal Palace (Terry Venables team of the 80's) with our goal a lateEric Gates consolation. So 7-0 that night in the Uefa Cup was a dream. |
