 | News Comment | Rovers Return to Town With New Manager and New Hope at 14:40:55
Thanks for the detailed insight into our opponents. It might also be worth a mention that we beat Bristol Rovers after a replay on our way to lifting the FA Cup in 1978. In that season, Nottingham Forest beat Liverpool to the title and we finished just above the relegation zone in the old First Division - could history repeat itself? |
 | News Comment | TWTD, Blue Monday and Alex Griffin Football Content Awards Finalists at 10:31:59
Alex is a local lad too young to remember any of Town's previous successful years and yet he is a devoted fan who travelled to virtually all away games during our time in League One. I'd say that makes him the complete opposite of a glory hunter. For those of us who live a long way from Suffolk and struggle to get to many games a season, it's nice to watch his videos and get a taste of the atmosphere around and inside Portman Road. My kids love his videos too so he gets my vote. |

@Help: I suspect that if anyone signs today, it will be kept under wraps until tomorrow's kit launch. Not that that's stopping me from checking every now and again! |
 | News Comment | Breitenreiter: Changes But We Have to Remain Professional at 20:32:37
Imagine if the boot were on the other foot and we had to rely on Norwich winning at Leeds to give us a chance of promotion. And then hearing that Norwich were changing their keeper and giving a few other fringe players a game! |
 | News Comment | McKenna: Stoke Will Be a Threat This Year at 20:57:10
Regardless of the strength of the players that Stoke have brought in, it should be beneficial for us to play them early in the season before they have had a chance to gel (apologies for the cliché). |
 | News Comment | Stevenage Eyeing Baggott Loan at 16:04:12
Celina can be wonderful to watch but is a luxury player and I can't see him fitting back into this Town side. When he didn't return to us last summer, I said that it would give Chaplin a chance to make that spot in the team his own and I've been feeling rather smug about that ever since. That goal against Crewe though... |
 | News Comment | Stevenage Eyeing Baggott Loan at 15:31:33
I was glad to hear that he played well in Austria because when I saw him against Stevenage he looked a little bit shaky on the ball. Especially at the start of the game when Stevenage were closing us down very quickly. There's no substitute for first team football, but equally there is no point in him going out to a team where centre-backs are expected to just hoof the ball as soon as it reaches them (not that I'm saying Stevenage play like that, I just haven't seen much of them since Evans took over). So if he does go out to a League One club, where would be a good fit for him? |
 | News Comment | Town Launch New Membership Scheme at 05:46:02
"Typical sales window for home games: Monday, 10am — Super Blues members who are not season ticket holders. Wednesday, 10am — Super Blues members who are season ticket holders." That makes sense so far as it prioritises members who don't already have a match ticket over those who do. '...Friday, 10am — Season ticket holders. Monday, 10am — General sale." But then for non-members, priority is given to those who already have a match ticket over those who don't. That makes no sense to me. |

There can't be many players who have played for Forest, Derby and Notts County! Great signing for a League Two club as he had my vote for League One Player of the Season (excluding Town players). |
