Your new CEO as you know and we’ve seen what he’s had to say to you guys and we’re all falling about laughing. 😂
He said the same to us when he was appointed at City and over his reign he messed up the appointment of a new manager, recruited below par players and essentially took us backwards. We only just avoided relegation last season - but of course that had nothing to do with him.......
He’s also brought Andy Rolls as head of fitness with him along with another cronie Luke Werhun our previous club secretary.
Rolls was involved in horrendous injury crisis at Asrsenal a few seasons ago and again last season at City when our injury crises was the worst in living memory.
Initially you’re going to impressed with Ashton but it won’t take too long before you all begin to question his validity.
As for Rolls - you can almost certainly expect a number of lengthy injuries.
Anyway, hopefully you’ll be bounce back into the championship soon but if Ashton gets involved in recruitment don’t hold your breath! |

Joining you guys having been at AG five seasons.....
The guy is a smooth operator, full of false charm and utterly ruthless. He talks in a very corporate manner and ignored us fans, hardly communicates anything and is despited by us City fans.
We are absolutely delighted to see the back of him.
You guys are welcome to him! |

Bristol City fan here again.
Why oh why did you guys let Webster go? Since arriving at AG he’s been immense in pretty much every match. He’s formed a strong partnership with Kalas and they’re both the bedrock of our defence - the second best in the Championship behind Boro.
I see our former player Cole Skuse is getting some stick on here. Tbh he was excellent with us in his unfashionable role as a defensive midfielder and many of us were sorry to see him leave. That said I’m not sure he’d get into our current matchday squad despite being mates with our Head Coach Lee Johnson. |
