I try to be as diplomatic as possible, but this isn't acceptable really - unless there are dire things going on in his life that truly affect his ability to earn his pay packet.
For me, this means he's off. If he's mentally struggling - or at least if that's genuine - there has to be a more solid reason than 'all this chatter about my career' blah blah.

Hmm, if it was a genuine nod/tribute, why add the extra 'o' on the end then? Surely 'Mariner Lounge' looks and sounds the part?
Adding the 'o' on the ends remind me of a Subway footlong for some reason. Or was the whole tribute thing an after thought?

Well, I said this at the top - I came in with no expectations. We did do worse than I had felt would be a floor on performance, but great to be back in the PL and I look forward to next season.
The disparity between Championship and PL is too wide, so it's not embarrassing to be going back down. Unless you are one of the usual top 6, it will take a miracle to achieve anything.
Let's enjoy the break, look forward to what happens and downwards and onwards and all that. Everything is a lesson, let's hope we've learnt. |

Well, I'm OK with all this. How awesome it was to be back up - but clearly things need to be learnt and changed.
Lots of positive things for the club and I can't wait to see what changes occur between now and the start of the next season. My expectations were low this season; next one I don't think I'll be so laid back about it.
