| News Comment | Ipswich Town 2-0 Huddersfield Town - Match Report at 18:54:04
Total class, and 24 years in the making. As someone that enjoyed Wembley as a young lad, I loved sponging up that atmosphere in town, now as a middle aged man. One for the record books. Thank you Kieran, Mark, The Three Lions, Gamechanger and Ed for what you have given us over the last few seasons. |

Cracking result, and another notch added. Job not quite done yet; but we're close. Let's seal the deal on Saturday, and enjoy the bubbles for the B/H weekend. Up The Towwen! |
| News Comment | Hull City 3-3 Ipswich Town - Match Report at 08:17:56
Remember - this wasn't a loss. This was a strong point against a strong team. We're still in this. 4 in 2. We have this in the tank. Let's be honest - if we don't make auto's, we'll do the usual thing and bottle the playoffs. And if that happens - we're just not ready for the PL. Simple. Strong position though, let's finish this. |
| News Comment | McKenna Named Championship Manager of the Season at 07:42:08
This is fantastic. The awards, accolades, records and fan attendance that we are collecting/seeing at the moment just goes to show the trajectory that we're on - even if we don't make auto's or a potential subsequent play-off victory; this can't be denied. Fantastic couple of seasons we've had under the gaffer, and long may this continue. Best vibes since those golden George Burley days for me. |
| News Comment | Ipswich Town Women 5-0 Chatham Town - Match Report at 18:20:09
Absolutely loved watching the girls play today from SBR 5. You could see how special it was for them to celebrate their goals and victory today in front of 10K fans, and there's real humility and passion with that. BA playing their part in keeping the atmosphere going too - so props to them as it makes such a difference. A real pukka day today, up the towen! |
| News Comment | No Change to Town Kit Despite Castore Acquiring Umbro Rights at 18:04:20
Just checked out Castore's website: https://castore.com/blogs/press/castore-agrees-umbro-pro-team-sports-licence Interesting comments here: "rom the start of the 2024/25 season we will have the exclusive right to seek to work with Umbro’s existing English Premier League team partnerships, including: AFC Bournemouth, Brentford, Luton Town and West Ham, as well as English Football League Clubs Ipswich Town, Huddersfield Town and Forest Green Rovers." Agree with comments above from Hatman; Umbro have come back and smashed it for us with respect to our kits. Assuming it won't be same level stuff from '25. |
| News Comment | Supporters Asked to Hold Minute's Applause For Lifelong Fan Liz at 18:34:48
I rode past a funeral procession last week where the hearse and coffin were draped from top to bottom in blue and white heading in the direction of Seven Hills - and it makes me wonder if I had seen Liz pass by. What an incredible sight to see, so if that was you Liz - you went to rest in total style. Blue and White Army. |
| News Comment | Ipswich Town 1-2 Maidstone United - Match Report at 14:51:47
Awful and embarrassing. But well done to Maidstone, and I wish them a good party this afternoon/evening. They want it more. This is why I shall never get too high or too low in supporting our team - we must always remain humble. |
| News Comment | Delia and Husband Issue Statement on Car Incident at 20:20:41
I certainly don't condone violence or aggression in any sport - but let's be clear here, what did they honestly expect as they transited through the 'blue sea'. I think this is an attention seeking exercise. |
| News Comment | Town Looking For New West Stand Sponsors as Magnus Group Enters Administration at 19:01:36
An an ex-driver for a large haulier myself, I'd just like to add my 10p worth here. I gladly quit when I came to the realisation that driving for 75-80hrs per week made my salary work out to be under minimum wage - as well as being a life/morale vortex. I ditched the job after 20 years (with nothing immediately to go to), and there are no jobs with T&C's that can offer my cushty warehouse job that I have now. It is terribly sad to hear about the organisations current position, but it is just a realisation of what is happening to haulage (and other sectors) in this country. Poor pay for staff, undercutting conglomerates doing damage to business, and greedy capitalism for greedy shareholders. I look forward to seeing the West Stand in its new sponsored glory. |
| News Comment | Rotherham Boss Apologises to Fans at 08:02:15
This won't be a popular opinion - but did people not show a bit more awareness and kind of think this could have happened? The entire country blanketed in continuous rain for nearly 48hrs prior, with train/travel/weather warnings being blurted out like it was the apocalypse. This coupled with this country's renowned poor handling of inclement weather; would you not have checked before you left? I'm seeing a lot of moaning at club and authority here, but it's really not their fault. Sorry. |

Aw, poor Evo. Good call though to get it surgically repaired and wish him all the best. The deputy el capitan will be missed. |
| News Comment | McKenna: Hladky Has Been Excellent at 19:38:50
I'm rooting for Vaz. He was called, he came in and he has smashed it. Also, credit to RG doing his work in the training ground with all the keepers in the first team. Brilliant. |
