 | News Comment | Hutchinson: Ipswich Will Always Have a Place in My Heart at 02:10:10
Omfg, sum on here are painfully narrow minded and hypocritical. Thank you Omari, you lit up our l1 & champ successes. You were played out of position in the Prem, GUARANTEED he will play on the right wing for Forest & if so, will go on to have a glittering career. No issue with him, more of an issue with Town, what didn't town just accept the 35mill & move on. Refusal cost us weeks in rebuild, any1 we get will take wks to bed in. Nervous AF about the next few matches but COYB Uppa Towen!! |

 | News Comment | Manchester United 'In Pole Position' For Delap at 01:40:25
Delap will leave, going to get offered a silly money deal which all of us would take, can't blame him for that. Is he the real deal? I'm not so sure....he needs to get a f*k tonner better to be in Kane's league, he may well realise it himself & wants to cash in while the going is good. Personally, I'd be looking at Newcastle (if they lose Isak) or Arsenal - Gooners need a no.9 & he'd get more delivery. ITFC have failed to get headed goals from our tall centre forwards...pretty sure others wouldn't...a weapon underused by KMK |
 | News Comment | Morsy: Ups and Downs on Way to Becoming Sustainable Premier League Club at 20:28:10
I'm a long time viewer of this site, rarely do I post. LeeflippinJames has forced me to comment. All I'm going to say is, calm the flip down, I'm worried for your heart & head fella. You're clearly a devoted fan & remove the angst at others having different opinions, I think you make some good points. I don't agree with you a lot but I welcome others points & views, at times they can change your opinion. I don't think Sam was great this season, I think Muric has been a waste of cash & a liability (on & off the field). Km doesn't seem to have a plan b, with 2 great holding strikers I do find it odd that we've never tried to play both. Hutch shud be playing on the wing, Broadhead shud have started more games, Davis needs to improve as a defender or play left wing. And that's me, said my bit & I'll be back in another decade or so. | News Comment | Muric: Decision Made Against Us Not Fair, Rumours Not True at 00:45:49
Been following twtd for 32 years, was a god send when I moved to Edinburgh, has kept me connected to the club I love. However, some of the utter codswallop spouted by the posters beggars belief. I'm not convinced by Muric yet, I think there is a top prem keeper in him but it's 50-50. As it is with most of our signings, we are banking on their progression. So having an online (aren't we brave?!) pop at him for this? Ave a word. Unless it affects his progression at town...who gives a f**k? Mindless puppets. |
 | News Comment | McKenna: We've Done Some Really Good Business in a Challenging Window at 09:49:20
Whilst I'm fairly happy with the window but think Leicester & Southhampton have done better (without spending much more). Our team needs to gel & step up to the prem level (in most positions), some will & some won't. Worried re keeper, don't think Chaplin, Hirst, Taylor or Hamadi are prem level......please prove me wrong |
 | News Comment | Chesterfield Join Ndaba Hunt But Hibs Favourites at 02:44:23
As a Town ex-pat (lived in Edinburgh 32 yrs) and a Hibee up here. I would love this to happen, he'd have stayed if we were in the championship & surprised there's been no interest from that league (or 2/3) |
 | News Comment | McKenna Representatives Hold Manchester United Talks - Report at 13:44:05
I think he may be leaving for Man U, Radcliffe has already made it clear he wants a clear out, so Km could re-build the team in his own image (much like he did with Town, at a lower level). I hope I'm wrong but can imagine the temptation is huge, it's his boyhood club who served him well, think we would all be tempted. Agree that the speculation is painful & damaging, will all become clear after the FA cup |
 | News Comment | Three Changes For Town at Cardiff at 12:21:48
Hope I'm wrong (as my only way to follow) but not even featured on the BBC site for live commentary? Regardless, I'm sending my support to the team from a gloomy Edinburgh, strong side & hope we do well |
 | News Comment | McKenna: It Was a Bit of a Wild Game, Wasn't it? at 14:40:40
1st goal was embarrassing for this level, thier 2nd is a complete balls up by Victor (who I love as our keeper but he missed that by miles) & 3rd one an iffy pen. Its not really the number it's that we were stuck in our half for 20 odd mins, trying to 'pass it out' & failing, adding to pressure on the defence that is unessesary. That is what irks me, we handed WB a goal the other week, same with Preston & again last night. Sometimes foot thru the ball & give up possession is tactically the best choice! |
 | News Comment | Town Confirm Moore Loan Signing at 20:29:05
Plan B, potentially a change in our approach for plan A, his experience & heading ability opens up a lot for us. We can add dimensions to our attack that should overcome teams with 11 behind the ball. Also his connection to both of our key midfielders should ease 'fitting in' |
 | News Comment | Striker Remains Priority For Town on Deadline Day at 10:30:51
I was initially quite excited when Moore was mentioned but genuinely think Gallagher would be a better fit. I like the Wales connection with Burns n Broadhead & still happy to see him here. Blackburn are securing another striker today (by all accounts) so Gallagher might still move on. |
 | News Comment | McKenna: Evans Surgery a Success at 15:04:15
Heal well Lee, come back strong. Hopefully the other pre existing issue has been addressed now as well & he can stay injury free in the future. We're fortunate to have 2/3 players who can fill that position |
 | News Comment | Chaplin: We Were the Better Team and Had the Better Chances at 13:03:24
On another day we would have taken something from that performance with the personnel available. We were 3 players adrift of our strongest side, there is no need for doom n gloom. Of course the idiots will say their usual BS on here, tempting us all to become embroiled in responding, rise above. |
 | News Comment | McKenna: A Lot More Good Than Bad at 22:56:12
Half expected this and for those that live in clod cuckoo land, here's some facts. Two of their players (who both scored) cost more than our entire front line, as an astute poster said we were playing Fleetwod this time last season! Yes, we leaked some poor goals and we will concede many more this season but we rallied & we competed against the team well fancied to bounce back. We're fancied to compete for top 6 & I will be ecstatic if we achieve that. |
