It was a definite sending off offence. The Brighton players were conning the ref,throughout the whole game.In one instance towards the end,their player actually slips over on the wet surface,after he had lost the ball,and the referee still gave them the free kick.
A lot of this is down to the many foreign players in this league,to which we don't have at the moment.
We badly need to change our approach in future and get a lot more cute ,before it's too late. |

The Brighton manager Hurtzeler in his pre match press conference, described our tactics and how we set up to a tee,with that in mind they completely nullified any forward threats we might have had.He basically told us how we were going to play,before a ball was kicked.
Hurtzeler certainly did a job on us,as for us we need a change of tactics occasionally. |
