…and my brain fully computed, that really wasn’t a bad result last night.
Hull played well enough to win and many a Ipswich side in the past would have lost by a couple of goals or so.
Draw against Coventry and beat Huddersfield - we would have taken that three weeks ago let alone at the beginning of season.

Really hard run of games since mid December now over. Next 8 look much easier and the new strikers are looking like they are settling in nicely.
Really optimistic for the remainder of the season.

…tricky game and I make us better odds for promotion than we were @ 3pm. This is what football is all about, enjoy the ride - it’s bloody brilliant.
I can only assume that the negativity (to be fair not as bad as I anticipated, once this wonderful run came to and end) is from our more immature fans who are yet to be properly battle hardened by what this game can bring.

We didn’t play badly today, dominated a game and produced statistics that 9 times out of 10 would & should earn a win. No point in lamenting over a striker we haven’t got, nor will ever get while in this league. This team is easily good enough as it is and will get us out of this sh*te division this season at a canter.
Keep the faith - it’s obvious.

49 years supporting Town, an FA Cup win, an UEFA Cup win, Play-off final win, holding our own in the Premier - all wonderful memories.
I have now given up and won’t watch them again while Lambert is still in charge.

...what are the continual passes across the back four achieving, when we inevitably end up with a dreadful long ball to no one? May as well let the goalkeeper do that in the first place?? |
