Leaving Knudsen's contract hanging on until this stage = "crazy"
Yet after calling out the importance of having players in from 1 Jan and having nowt ain't a great sign either is it. Surely essential we have 3-4 in from 12/1 and ideally 1/2 of those playing at Accrington to settle in
Waghorn looks on way to me. Friendly with fans afterwards but his body language when asked about his future suggested to me at least, he could well be going. Seriously hoping I am wrong.
I saw grown fans shaking after stuff was thrown down.
Parents and kids who said they'd never come back.
Was feeling pretty relaxed myself until at the end of the game I was hit by a coin.
I can take that myself. But there were kids close by and they could have had their eyesight taken out.
The stewarding was poor. When I told the stand manager about it and showed him the coin he said "I don't want it" and had to be encouraged to use his radio. Similarly, fans who needed to be moved out of the area where the flare went off, needed to sit right next to Leeds fans who had got tickets in the home section.
The club need to review what happened with the Police. Next time Leeds come they need to be held much more securely.
If you weren't there, think back to when we lost 5-1 at home to the Budgies, when jimmy Bullard scored that classy goal as a late consolation, switch our defence for a weaker one and you are about there.
I thought Spence, Iorfa and Dozzell looked good. Downes clearly has potential and looks different - mainly cos he tends to pass the ball forward from midfield - yep, a true revelation.
The remainder were poor.
Knudsen, Chambers and Smith are not top 6 championship players. Kenlock, Webster and Iorfa could be.
At one point, Knudsen under very limited pressure, headed the balls across his own defence, chambers miskicked and set them up. Those of you who weren't there who take your kids to play in primary school aged teams would have pissed yourselves seeing it - it was seriously bad.
The highlight was seeing Jason dozzell celebrating andre's goal. Why the hell he did not start I will never know. Andre and Jason actually.
I hope this was a one off. No fan wants to see it. It was the first pre seasom season game I have seen, and those of you who have seen more can out this in perspective. For me, it looked far too consistent with the weakest things we saw last season from a manager who picks a weaker 11 than he needs to.. over and over again.
Turning up in Leeds kit, shown to their seats by stewards..
Eating all our pies!!
Cheering when they score...
This would never happen in North Stand.. no way they would be let in. Yet since some of us now have young kids, its presumably ok? If we buy season tickets in a home section, surely it's fair to expect it will remain that way.
When I ask, what the hell is going on, I am told, they are fine unless they cause a problem..
Absolute joke. Mr Evans will be hearing from me!
More seriously, does this have to happen? Why not just increase the size of the away section?
