Woolfenden
at 20:56 23 Aug 2025

If ever there was an example of why Woolfenden should be in the team, today was it.

Repeated hesitation and playing the ball out, today looked a mistake waiting to happen.

We need his reading of the game, vision for delivery and calmness at the back.

Do not let him go, play him!!

is it just me or would anyone else look at playing 3 centre backs and wing backs

Played some of our better football with three across the back.

With no Burgess: Woolf, O'Shea & Greaves will work well

A downside to last night
at 08:29 13 Aug 2025

When will squad players such as Walton, Woolfenden, Kipre and the like play their next game?

But for injuries or suspensions it could be the F A Cup in January. How match fit will they be then?

Some say the Carabao Cup is rubbish but we needed the run to keep these players involved in first team play!!

I would prefer to see a back three with Woolfenden in the team.
We missed his composure, vision and ball distribution on Friday especially as the game went on.

Woolfy off?
at 16:27 26 May 2025

He looked desolate on the lap, kept away from the squad. Obvious disappointment.

Far too good to be sat on the bench for another season unless KM goes with O'Shea, Woolf and Greaves.

There will be offers I'm sure.

Squad next year then....

I wouldn't be surprised to see Woolfenden leave.

It's one thing to sit on the bench in the Premiership but different in the Championship especially when you know you are very capable of playing at that level.

Unless O'Shea moves on of course!

Would be heartbroken if Woolfy went. Been excellent last few games! (n/t)

Comes from a close family, loves living locally with his young family and dogs I'd be very surprised if he was to leave.

Neither O'Shea, Greaves or Burgess have Luke's capabilities as a ball player.

IMO Godfrey is here as a cover RB as Axel is an injury risk and H Clarke not up to PL standard unfortunately.

Season Ticket Seat Moves

It's a poor email and explanation.

I presume the blue seats highlighted in the plan are the new seats created but that is not made clear.

I tend to find he has a good first half but weakens his performance in the second.

Similar road out, I think it's Groby Road which will lead you Glenfield, Anstey then A46 on to M1

Referee for Ipswich v Norwich is Josh Smith
at 16:44 12 Dec 2023

From what I have seen of him live and on tv this season, IMO not a good appointment.

To fussy and too card happy!

I hope I'm proved wrong!

Intrigued as to who the ref will be Saturday

Referee will be Josh Smith.

I think he has refereed Town 3 times (maybe 4) this season the last time being Bristol City away.

I despair at such posts that KMc might go elsewhere.

I believe him to be a very level headed young man who has made a committment to ITFC by signing a 3year+ contract approx 16 months.

He has a wife and young family who made a sacrifice to move from the Manchester area to Suffolk so I don't think he is going anywhere for a long time.

Yes, there will be interest, but I do not see him as someone who will move around the country on a whim.

He has great support from the Owners, so it is my opinion he is here to stay and will take Town on to greater things.

Referee for Saturday : SCOTT OLDHAM (n/t)

One of the better referees we've had this season. Was excellent at Turf Moor.
