53 years I've been supporting Ipswich, my father first took me when I was 8 years old. I have to say I have never been so disinterested in anything that goes on at the club - who we pick, who gets dropped or injured, no one seems to make a big enough difference anyway. The relationship between the owner/manager and fans is perhaps at an all time low and there doesn't look to be any way out of this mess in the near future. Worst of all for me is I don't get angry or upset anymore because I expect these performances. As a life long supporter I'm not sure if I care enough to go every week anymore when COVID is better and fans are allowed back into watch. It hurts me to say that but that's how I feel. |

Is it too much to expect this manager to play a settled side and formation. Too many changes. We don't have a good enough squad to do that. No discipline,and too many liabilities especially at the back. Lambert's stubbornness is costing this club dearly. Stop playing the players that are clearly not up to it in this division. The whole club at first team level is an embarrassing mess. Decisions on and off the pitch are poor and have been for a while now. We never learn..where's the passion,pride and fight gone. That's the bare minimum any supporter at any club has a right to expect. This season has been bad enough but I fear it will get worse before it gets better. It pains me to see the club i have supported for over 50 years in such a state. I genuinely am beginning to fear for the club's future now as it's difficult to see a way out of this under the current ownership. I will still support the club because it's my club and I care along with thousands of others. It's hurting at the moment. I wonder if Mr Evans is hurting as much. We probably will never know |

Hate to see anyone lose their job but it's the best thing for all involved . Wanted him to succeed but too many changes were made too soon with lower league players almost made it inevitable that he would fail, then i think panic set in. Whoever takes over will be hard pressed to keep this team up! Hopefully an experienced, calm head who will get the best from what we have. Good luck Paul in whatever you do next. Maybe this was a up in your managerial career you weren't quite ready for yet |

After nearly 50 years a supporter man and boy this is without doubt the lowest and most embarrassed I have ever felt .I keep telling myself it doesn't matter, no-one cares why should I ?But I do care.It hurts knowing that this once great club of mine is being made a laughing stock. We have a manager who clearly hasn't got a clue and an owner who's quite content with things as they are. Mr Evans has to act now to save this club if he cares .Then again,I'm not sure he does. Sad days indeed. |
