For sure it's risky, going either way from one of the established two parties. But the status quo is such that I currently consider it a risk worth taking. Nothing ventured ... The greens seem to propose spending far too much, I'm not convinced they'll find the money without taxing us silly. As an asides, I'm often reading on here how Brexit is a widely acknowledged disaster. How come that then? From what I see the big EU counties are in an even bigger mess, esp the french. |

oh go on then - I'll trust that it really is a genuine question and not a leader for lets-bash-the-right. Unlike you gentlemen, I don't follow politics closely, so I let other people scrutinise evidence etc. I just want something to happen to drag us out the malaise. If Mr Farage is sounding like he might be the person to do that, then great, I'd be tempted. I'd hoped Mr Polanski might be that person too, but there's enough financial woes around without him making it worse imo. So I just want something to happen. Anything, really. Just some blinking action, something and someone different. |

Well put. I voted green last time around but some of their policies outside the environmental proposals are crackpot. More borrowing ? More taxes ? You must be joking mate |

Didn't we have a motor beef with SHU many years ago ? I can't remember why but I do remember the term "Norwich of the North' and howling at them wildly. |

If he does end up here I hope he’s fantastic after all this fuss and bother. I’m starting to get Jack Clarke vibes |

Correct decision, and now I’ve seen the replay I think Smz bottled it and could have made a better effort to get on the ball |
 | Forum Reply | Theoretical question about promotion..... at 19:34 11 Aug 2025
Good question Yes player quality, yes aspiration, yes our owner's hopes etc etc But I know which of the last two seasons I enjoyed watching the most.... |
 | Forum Reply | All three promoted clubs to go down? at 19:28 11 Aug 2025
All three back down again please. There were some rumblings from commentators last season and that will only increase, hopefully to a point where the EPL do something to help, if only to protect their product. I'll not hold my breath though |

well hopefully Prem equipped - but in that case Hackney doesn't really match the 'more physical' player type the club have been on about. 5' 8" according to wiki If we get him, great, I'm sure KmcK knows better than anyone else. But physically we do seem to be constantly going for - er - lighter players. And getting rid of the muscle too (Morsy, Burgess) |

Yeah I wondered about that too .....also same for the Palestinian flags on the other side of the police lines. |

please no, it's half way to corny American ice hockey organists What's wrong with old-school shouting and jumping around. |

All that may or may not be true; but for folks who don't follow politics closely (i.e. me), it becomes increasingly irritating when our sons and daughters are struggling with finding homes so much. Mr Starmer's 'plenty of housing out there' comment in front of that committee the other day totally killed off any respect I had for the few things he's done that are imo positive. I voted green last time around, which now seems a waste of pencil lead. Where else am I meant to turn |
