All that may or may not be true; but for folks who don't follow politics closely (i.e. me), it becomes increasingly irritating when our sons and daughters are struggling with finding homes so much. Mr Starmer's 'plenty of housing out there' comment in front of that committee the other day totally killed off any respect I had for the few things he's done that are imo positive. I voted green last time around, which now seems a waste of pencil lead. Where else am I meant to turn |

What a miserable moaning bunch you are. At least someones had a go at doing something, it's pretty good too, easily to read the words. So it's not photo perfect, so what. Is art meant to be nowadays? |

Think I was trying to say similar - as you stated, the UK is blessed with a sea boundary; but that can work against us as much as it works for us nowadays. Handy for WWII /Napoleon /Spanish Armada /rabies etc though. |

Indeed the US was one of the worse. But figures for before /after their change of government show that something can be done about it, if the voters wish it. |

You may well be right. I suspect the opposite though, that the prospect of British boots on the ground will accelerate the progression. |

Fervent support ? 'Public support for Britain's role in the conflict continues, with just over half (53%) of Britons supporting the government's provision of economic, humanitarian, and defensive military assistance to Ukraine little changed since November 2024. The peak of support was 68% in February 2023'. ipsos, 25th Feb '25 Hardly fervent. At this rate of decline it'll be a minority opinion by Easter. |

£2m for winning the cup £loads m for avoiding relegation Think that probably answers the hierarchy's position |
