Hoping that's Leeds or Leicester don't have the bottle over the last few games but looking at our display against the scum (think we bottled it..) the play off will be a total nightmare... Don't see us beating West Brom, Southampton, Scum or Coventry depending who gets there... Been a great season even so and hopefully we will strengthen again in the summer if the nightmare turns into cold sweats... |

Can't see it being 100% decided before last game. Whoever gets into top 2 positions will deserve it but the play offs are such a lottery. 1 of the top four will be devastated probably even before the wembley final.. even making the top 6 will be a massive performance from town... Let's hope the pressure cracks open Leeds & Southampton... Getting knocked out of FA cup has been a blessing, even though we all felt humiliated by it.. |

I know we can't disclose this type of thing as it gives competitive/negotiation advantage to other teams but I'd be really interested in knowing how close we are in terms of FFP rules come the end of the season... He's done well in L2 but let's be honest, the defenders in L2 are not the guys he'll up against week in week out if he comes to us.. Hurst doesn't score many but is skillful in keeping the ball and bring our other forwards into the game. That's where we are lacking currently ie without that role we're not playing the game which took us to 2nd spot. If he can do the Hurst role great but is that the role he plays now... Im not suggesting that KMc should have said anything different, as yes a short term rant today would not have benefited the player relationship long-term... I just hope that it's not just 2 strikers that we're hoping to bring in... We need more than that and we can free up some squad spaces by getting rid of some deadwood...
It lovely being loyal to the likes of Aluko and ball as nd Taylor, but if we can't rely on them when they come in on rotation , are they worth the squad place??? |

I think it's true to say we probably weren't going to win the cup but the added prize money would have helped in the Financial fair play situation. Focussing on the league is the sensible thing but the thing is @Europablue, do you think we have the squad to be successful if we finish in the play off places... Today isn't a one off in that a number of players have been off their game for a while. |

Time to face some difficult questions..
We have a pretty good solid first 11 but I'm trying to pick who they are at the moment.
Something has happened in the team that we don't know about, Brandon Williams gone with no real explanation, Broadhead off the boil. I wonder if there is some connection there.
Taylor has been poor since we brought him. Never seemed to have settled in the team. Will he make it or best to off load him.
Axel has no pace with Maidstone players making him look really ordinary. Is he committed or just picking up his money each week.
Davis not been the same since being humiliated at Leeds (who were his first big club). Does he need some support in terms of confidence building.
Freddie didn't want to be here so right to let him go. Should we have sold him though. Doubt he ever come back.
Should we cancel contracts of players that won't make it on the pitch and use the money for a striker- Aluko, Ball, Williams (think Jackson has earned the chance to see the season through).
Will we be in the play off positions.. I think yes but now is the time to spend big on a striker |

If you watched the game you'd see that wolfie made more that one major mistake and they could of had 2 additional goals from those errors... That said he gives his all and loves the team... I think that Travis was a bit sloppy at times but probably needs more game time to sharpen up. Personally I don't think Taylor has worked out as a good signing and can see him moving on. Certainly wouldn't start him above Mass or Travis... Would love to Hutchinson given a start and run in the team, as a young he needs confidence to grow his game for us... |
