Personally I think this is a great team and wished he played it earlier. Apart from Berra that is. Work rate and creativity in midfield. Bru playing more centrally and will be able to go forward with slide behind him. Mcoldrick feeny and Sears up top together. Pace and creativity there! Not saying we will be beat boro as they are a very strong team but if we had played this team against others j feel we would have done well. |

Always been optimistic this season but the last few games have ruined any last hopes I thought we had. Everyone is going to slate Douglas tonight, and rightly so. He was so negative. I understand putting why managers play defensive players but he didn't do that job well either. Hopefully bishop will get some game time now. |

I'm not sure what people are expecting! We are not a big club, we cannot compete with boro, but let, Hull, Derby budget thus cannot buy our way out of the league. Which only leaves a couple of places up for grabs each year in the play offs. I would rather take our position which is consistently in top half since MM has taken over, rather than change the manager and end up like Fulham, Leeds, Blackburn, Forrest, wolves who haven't competed for the play offs (besides wolves last year) for a while. Yes we would all love to be cermented in the play offs but with big teams with big budgets involved it's never going to be easy, unless you have for some reason you have a season than just 'clicks' like Brighton or Leicester in the prem! |

Good luck to him, hes made the right decision! i would rather play in the prem over championship every day of the week!Sunderland will hopefully just be a stepping stone for him to move to a larger club, once he has adapted to the prem.
But we do now need to go and buy some decent players! Ellington is not good enough any more to be a top goal scorer. we need someone else to play with Chopra as priskin and scotland should not be in the starting 11! PJ needs another good fast striker, St ledger hopefully and a good Centre mid.
FIngers crossed that the majority of that money goes back into the team |
