Having spent over £50 going to Norwich on Sunday, being a student i could not afford to fork out for anther cup game just before christmas. I was gutted I couldn't be there but had it on the radio from start to finish. The reason i wasn't there was because after paying for a season ticket and for Norwich the price of a ticket to a cup game (prem opposition or not) is ridiculous! I'm as loyal as the next fan but ticket prices are ridiculous. I think thats the real reason for the poor attendance on Wednesday. |

come on! ground sponsorship is a good idea. It will always be St James Park to the newcastle fans. none of that sport direct crap. My old man still calls the south stand the churchmans stand after i don't know how many years.... whatever its officially named to us it will always be Portman Road! |

this is a great article. It has made me think about what Evans is trying to do with the club. He has invested alot of money and in return he had got loads of puplicity, one big P R stunt maybe? On the other hand, atleast his money has kept us out of the financial woes we were in for so long. Ultimatley Evans is the owner, he should stop hiding in the background and sort it out. If we get a few wins i think everyone will back off.

I think this is almost spot on. Although in amongst rebuilding the squad i think we let too much young tallent go, with the likes of danny haynes and jordan rhodes. It may not be the cause of our problems but it would help to have them. Also I dont like keanes idea that he can just let players think they can go. with mcauley and stead thinking they will be off come january. Atleast find a replacement before you make theem want to leave. I think the squad is insecure because of this. They will feel they cant have an off day or they will be the next person told they can leave. How can you build a squad with no security and low confidence? |

This has to be a joke! i cant think of anything worse than a change of manager now. So roy isnt the super manager we were all hoping for but he has had what 14 league games? were getting better, slowly, but were getting there. Roy needs time!!!!!! |

I don't care if we don't get promoted,nor do i care if we finish 21st I just hope were not the next East Anglian team relegated to league one football. Give Roy some time though. think about sackings in the latter part of the season (hopefully they wont be needed). |

I don't think we'll be getting promoted this season. I think Roy will take us that one step further that Magilton couldn't manage and get us in to the play offs, but there are so many quality teams i.e newcastle, middlesborough, west brom who will be looking for auto promotion I dont think we wil be able to compete at that level just yet. but i think we've got a good chance of finishing fifth or sixth. hope i'm made to eat my words. Would love to see town in the premiership. C'mon you blues! |
