Lets be honest they were fantastic in the champ but in reality we could/should have done a Forest last season.

Not many were premiership ready out of the squad that was going up.

They chose not to do that to keep some of the spirit and i think that was fair on the players for getting promoted.

We had the perfect formula for the champ the last time but that will only get you up and down and with it being so hard to stay up in the prem i actually think they are doing the right thing.

Because thats where we want the club to be?

If you want to see the players you are attached to then the club could do a great bit of business out of legends events you guys would be able to see the lads for years to come and keep living in the moment.

At the end of the day i think a lot of inherent racism comes out in these situations which is quite disgusting.

There is no reason he should be treated any worse than any other player so thats all i can deduce.

I was quite proud to have an Iraqi playing for ipswich. I think it attracted some new fans for the club in that area which was nice.

Always tried hard and looked really impressive in the last champ season. I think he will do ok next i just hope he feels appreciated by the majority of ipswich fans and ignores the idiots.

got that creative chap in, cant remember where he came from but he looks pretty handy.

was wearing some sort of yellow kit when i saw him.

im not saying hes homesick haha im saying he has a life there and nightlife/ leisure time in london vs ipswich etc?

more about what young lads want.

Prem football was probably worth the move for him at the time.

I just sense a greedy agent behind him and someone more confident about his abilities than the performances ive seen.

dont get me wrong i thought west ham were mental to let him go for all his potential and what id seen of him at that point. Thought west ham were really stupid and was gutted for him when it happened.

body language. The noise around possible transfers to other clubs in the past. London based guy most of his life coming out this way probably would rather be back that way.

and he probably expected to play a lot more than he has.

its the way football is, you go up theres money that comes with it and clubs can squeeze you for more.

I do think we must be pretty hard negotiators actually and respect for that. There hasnt been too many panic buys or silly fees.

The obvious 15m winger one hasnt gone too well but who knows he may come good now there is competition

I reckon he'd commute from that far maybe he's got a place on the boarder anyway, nice little commute in.

doesnt have to live in Ipswich to play for Ipswich.

Would be funny if in the last 12 months hes has moved further this way.

I reckon so he never wanted to come here i reckon, Fulham i bet.

£6m will be fine for a player that doesnt seem to want to be here.

its nice they are reinvesting in the squad, might as well get this young Norwegian lad in too

3m loan option to buy instead for 15m? upfront cash on promotion?

might be a better deal for us as we can see if he turns out to be good enough.

if not or we dont get promoted worth a try.
