If we didn't sign a striker, we would still have to suffer a spectacular loss of form to not make the playoffs.
Any striker signing is to try and stay close to the top 2. |

Club appears more savvy recently about maximising these opportunities.

Summerville linked with PL clubs and I'd imagine a few in Europe. Would also guess that Rutter would be watched by clubs in Europe. Archie Gray is being scouted by Liverpool.
Yes they can spend in January but they already have a squad loaded with quality. More players coming in for them can upset the squad balance.
Think they'll produce some stunning performances in the 2nd half but also have some games where it doesn't click like the Stoke loss this season. |

Apparently Barnsley have turned down £2.5m from Coventry for Kitching. I think crazy prices will still be there for some of L1, especially I they're under a long contract like Kitching (June 26). |

Suggesting that a professional footballer was late for training without any evidence to back that up could be defamation of character. I don't mind him reading stuff online and repeating it like he's itk but making accusations without proof is pretty poor stuff. |

Neither Chaplin or Broadhead play the full 90 mins per game most games. Broadhead will not have the fitness to play 46 games. Part of the issue now is improving so that there isn't a big a drop off in quality when we make our subs. |

Coming from a source who knows him from his Chesterfield days, Middlesbrough wanted him off the wage bill and to free up funds for signings. Certainly wasn't released. |

I think we will be ambitious but Gyökeres is likely to go to West Ham/Everton/Bournemouth for around £20m.
Piroe is a good shout. Last year of contract, probably around £4-5m. Might go to Southampton to link up with Martin again. |
