Town Still Remembered in Lodz
at 20:03:02

That was great to read. If you go to the website of Widzew Lodz and search 'Ipswich' it takes you to pages where you can read of their exploits in the 1980/81 UEFA Cup and how Ipswich Town broke their hearts.

Boxing Days to Remember
at 23:33:29

I loved reading that about your brother and his dedication to the Town. Thank you.
I never had the pleasure of seeing Joe Broadfoot play [as my first matches at Portman Road were in 1967], but my Dad loved telling me of Joe's exploits on the wing. Dad was born in the tobacconist shop in Portman Road which was run by his Aunt Soph. All the players called in after training to buy their smokes apparently. Those were the days!
