This miserable, miserable club, bloody hell...
at 17:01 5 Apr 2021

I feel sick. This awful, awful feeling. I genuinely drifted off for a ten minute nap in the second half. Why did Lambert not get sacked before or during the January transfer window? The players brought in during Jan are not good enough. Paul Cook has been shafted and dealt with a bad hand for this season. But lets move onto today. This Rochdale team are bottom of the league. They played better than us and looked the team likely to score and win.

I usually try too give the benefit of the doubt and be a little positive, but i'm disgusted at these performances from the players. That was absolutely unacceptable and it's not for the first time. These players are supposed to be fighting for the playoffs. Fighting for their careers here at the club. And each one of them has given sweet FA.

This comes back to Evans. I'm furious at how he has handled this season. The incompetence is just shambolic. He has to go. This season has been a disaster and the buck stops with him. Though the players, bloody hell. Get rid of the lot and start again.

I genuinely, genuinely am at the stage where i have had enough. Football isn't supposed to be this miserable. I can't remember the last time i enjoyed a Town performance. Was it maybe away to Blackpool? Probably. How we are still in with a shout of reaching the playoffs is absolutely laughable.

For Anyone in Doubt About our Start
at 07:46 24 Aug 2019

Might've seen this already but I'll post anyway.

Shows that Town are, in terms of the shots taken and ones that are on target for and against, we rank very highly! Stats showing then that this start we have had is actually pretty good, long may it continue!

Edit: ah, thank you Phil, I did wonder if I was linking it wrong ahah

Anyone seen his interview after the game? My already high respect for the man has grown. Had a feeling that he'd need to be in crutches to miss this game. He confirmed it in the interview how sore he was after the game. You can see the anger and how emotional he is that the club is where it's is

He gives everything for the club, he's played out of position for 3 seasons, he's played with numerous injuries that many players would be nowhere near, he's been consistent for years, his leadership on and off the pitch, his hatred for the scum, his passion for the club is plain to see and much more. He's a blue and I hope he continues to be in the future seasons. What a guy. One the few brightest sparks in what has been a difficult decade

Rumours of discontent with players
at 00:00 24 Oct 2018

Have I missed something about these bust ups at training and supposed problems with the players and manager? Read about 'rumours' but not much more details? Obviously there's some problems between players and coaches all things considered but must have missed the details of it

The Ironic Thing
at 22:02 7 Apr 2018

Is that there are a large number of fans who are so against the manager that they are making noises about never going to games until Mick leaves and/or making every atmosphere at games so toxic until he leaves. If these 'fans' keep going down this road, they will cause more damage than Mick ever would.
I wouldn't want to be a kid in these crowds.
I wouldn't want my kids to be in these crowds.
I can imagine they'll be a few kids and families turning their noses at games in the future because of this stuff. You want a manager out, fine. But today along with others are ridiculous.
It's too way far considering there's no point to it as we are getting a new manager in next season anyway. This section of fans are ruining it for the rest of us who just want to move on, it's embarrassing

My (Redundant) Thoughts...
at 23:25 18 Feb 2018

So I don't post a lot, but I do check in from time to time. Thought I'd share my thoughts (vent) on the game...

I don't expect the team to play passing, vibrant football. I don't think this team is capable too unless we add a player or two in. While the football has been turgid the last year/year and half, I'm happy with the way we played in the first half. If we can play like that away, then just a little more confident at home, I think we'd mostly all be happy. More of that please.

The second half wasn't great, but we defended alright, and the tactics were pretty sound. It's a shame that it's gotten so bad between fans and the management that subs are booed when they're brought on, especially in this game. Especially when the subs were fine to me. It would have been nice to see Celina but that would have required a formation change to use him properly. The final sub was made because iorfa was hurt not for tactical reasons, which makes the booing worse.

Mick's reaction to the goal wasn't great. However, it's not fair to slate him constantly at every opportunity and then to lose your minds when he says something back. Get a grip.

It's a shame that this situation overshadowed the game and a comment Mick said after the game about Norwich and the amount of money they've spent over the years to only be 13th. If only more of his snarky comments were targeted outside the club, maybe the atmosphere wouldn't be so toxic. This was probably the game that would decide MM's future. Would be stunned if MM stayed after this season and it's for the best. I hope that when he leaves however, we remember his tenure in the mostly positive light that it was.

I was at work for the game and was constantly checking the game for updates. When we scored, I was ecstatic and celebrating wildly in front of everyone... then checked again later and felt Like a clown. Football eh.
