We are finally starting to play attacking football and credit has to go to Mick for playing 4 top class forwards who are quite clearly getting use the goals we so badly lacked last season. Once again i am excited for the next game and to see how the season plans out. Credit where credit is due, and Mick finally looks like he knows what formation to play and how to set up the team. Saturday is a huge game, what a fantastic season we have had and how nice would it be to finish it by getting to Wembley and getting promoted. 2 massive games left and the support Saturday is going to be key. We need to get behind the team throughout the whole 90 minutes. If were winning we need to encourage the team and if things start to not go our way the support then needs to be just as big to make sure we give ourselves the best possible chance of winning the game. Brentford are a good side its not like we have drawn to a team fighting to stay in the league. Lets not forget we haven't got the biggest squad in the world and now is when we need to be getting behind the time as they need to be digging deep for results. We have got a very tough month and another huge game against Middlesbrough next Saturday. It's not over yet still only one point of top 6 and I can guarantee that the teams in the top 6 at the moment will also drop points before the season is over. |

We have the quality and have shown this already this season with good wins at Fulham and Brentford more recently. I think Saturday both Mings and Smith were having an off day and I think tonight we will go out their and try to prove a point to all the fans that have started to doubt us over the last couple of days. Disappointed with the result yesterday but at least we only have to wait three days for a response. Mings and Smith both had an off day and I could tell in the first 5 minutes that Mings wasn't going to have a good game just by his mannerism. Parr was fantastic when he came on, I think he is worthy of a start on Tuesday night and Sears looked lively throughout the game. However I do feel we miss McGoldrick, his composure on the ball and tight control really has a good impact on the game. Bring on Tuesday and then the big one on Sunday. Lets hope for 6 points and I feel it would send us back in the right direction and get us on the road again to promotion. |
