Leeds have banked over £100m in sales since missing out on promotion last season, they've now locked-in promotion to the PL. So inevitably their budget is going to be substantial. I imagine they'd be more likely to try to sign Delap than Hirst. |

We could literally double our points total for the season and it likely wouldn't be enough. Although anything above finishing bottom is a great achievement for the club in reality! After all, not only are still playing catch-up with club infrastructure, but half of our squad we obtained in League One. It was great to see back-to-back promotions, but there's just no way in this day and age that you can survive a PL season after two straight promotions. It was a good effort though.
I'm hoping Mr. Ashton's plan for relegation works out for us and we can be a strong Championship team next season. |

People questioning Hirst's allegiance need to get a grip. The oppurtunity to play at full international level is something every player dreams of, so why wouldn't they? I say good on him. I'm sure the same comments weren't made against Burgess, the Scot playing in England who plays internationally for Australia. |

Had that second goal not been disallowed, which was super harsh (fine margin), or either of their goals that required VAR review because of how close the offside was (fine margins), then then we'd all be feeling very differently about nit-picking individual errors. |

I'm curious to hear what people's alternative suggestions are to encouraging people to use Park & Ride over parking right outside the stadium, adding to congestion.
Remember that the congestion may not affect you so much in the stadium or sat at home on the sofa during match day, but a lot of non-football people avoid going in to town on match days because of how bad it is. It's only fair that the council try to mitigate this. |

It seems somewhat mad that while we languished in League One, we signed a defender from Accrington Stanley, who debuted in a loss to Cheltenham Town, who would then go on to serve us in the Premier League.

A few asking above about VAR, and from what the in-game commentators said on Opus, VAR did have a look at the Davis pen shout, but they decided on no-intervention. That happened while the ball was still in play.
As others have said, it did seem ridiculous that we didn’t get that. I agree theirs was a penalty, but ours seemed a more clear penalty decision. |
