I thought skuse was excellent today. Downes as well with s9me lovely passes. Rowe had one or two good moments but did very little. Norwood and jackson ran their socks off, down the channels, cloaing down, tracking back - very impressed.
Donacien and kenlock however - poor, poor, poor. Poor distribution and several hit and hope balls forward.
El mizouni and judge were lively wheb they came on, although judge put some awful crosses in, he looked as if he could make something happen.
A point away from home off a poor performance is a positive. |

Can't argue with that. Sadly it makes sense from a business sense. Nobody wants the club to do a bolton/coventry.
The football fan at heart will always scream out for transfer funds, but in reality, football is a business and businesses must be run with sensible decision makers, not those that throw money about for fun. It's a high risk strategy to splash the cash and not get promoted. Having said that, i hope we do it this year ofherwise a lot of the aforementioned talent will soon disappear to bigger clubs |

Never a fan of 4-5-1, especially not at home, our strikers in the past few seasons when we've played it have looked deserted, get two up top and form a great partnership on the mould. Personally think this would be a great signing for the championship; big, strong, fast, skillful and versatile. Agree that an improved offer will more than likely be needed, but would welcome him none the less. Everyone that keeps saying ''we need this, we need that'' I'm sure Paul Jewell also knows we need defenders and is doing business as we speak, just because other stories are being leaked doesn't mean he's neglecting the centre and ride side of defence!!! |
