Why would O'Shea start at RB when Johnson and Young are both available?

O'Shea/Greaves will be our long term partnership so I can see us wanting to avoid playing Greaves at LB. I think Davis will make the bench, anyway.

I wasn't so worried about Brentford completing the deal but can definitely see Forest getting it through given they lost Elanga. |

This is also why I'd start Greaves at CB instead of pushing him wide. He clearly will be the favoured pairing with O'Shea and we want them to play as much as possible together, plus it brings in Young. |

I don't really share the same concern around Birmingham most seem to do it, I think they'll feel like they have to absolutely come at us, which as we've seen time and time again under McKenna, will just suit us. We've frequently taking on attacking teams in this league and the league below and we usually just swat them aside. I think it'll be similar.
I can see us genuinely winning four of the five, with a draw against Southampton. |

Can't agree with you at all. For me, Muric is still the best keeper at the club for how we play. Neither Palmer nor Walton have quality with their feet and they lack the aerial presence Muric does. |

We clearly work systemically through a list, and we hang on as long as possible to get our main targets. Worked hard for Guiu and that didn't work out, we move on. We can't sign every single player we want on the list. |

Honestly it's one of those frustrating ones, and as fans we feel we are "owed" a certain level of loyalty, when in reality we aren't, and the players almost certainly don't think of it that way. They know football is short.
Realistically, I think we were probably all expecting him to go so it won't be surprising to see it happen - but it will be disappointing if it happens. Explains why Broadhead didn't go ahead. |
