Think you are right. |

There used to be one that you had to prove you would meet a minimum of 800 fans every week. I guess it was to show development focus, but that has been dropped now for a few years. If there is an issue with the ground, it's like Felixstowe isn't professional enough/high enough standard, which is fine. But we would have had more than half a season to plan a way we could do it at PR, because we've been highly likely to get promoted for a long time. Very frustrating for it to end up at Colchester if it does happen. |

Hear that, but if our decision is to make them play at Colchester instead of Portman Road, that is a stupid decision IMO. It might be cheaper, but everything about it feels wrong. Let them play at our stadium, pay our own employees etc etc. Don't like it. [Post edited 17 Jun 14:22]

Seconded for Strangers, it is excellent. Make sure you go to the roastery though, their best baristas are in there. Buffalo Coffee Brewers is also excellent, on St Benedict's Street. |

So far Starmer has a pretty good track record in relations with other countries so it will all work out. Other leaders seem to like him and happy to discuss terms etc. |
 | Forum Reply | Swansea, didn't see that one coming! at 18:31 14 Jun 2025
Don't think he's that big of a loss now, and the fact he has gone to Swansea alludes to that for me. Great guy, and almost single handedly steadied the ship in the second half of the league one season, but definitely we have better options now and will be looking at them in the future. We clearly only wanted him for cover at this point. |
 | Forum Reply | Alan Nixon reporting that McKenna is Brentford's ideal candidate.... at 21:26 12 Jun 2025
Frank had a £10m release clause supposedly, plus he's brought his assistant and two other coaches from Brentford. Not unreasonable to think that packages is in the range of 15m. So even if we have a 6-8m clause on McK, they're still in profit. |

He would be mad to turn Brentford down if they came calling. That's basically the club we now aspire to be and they're already set up to do it all and performing well. If he did stay, I think I'd question his logic! |

Just long with the undercard innit. Lots will turn up later. |

Obviously had the worst season but honestly it's a wrong call IMO. Starts the cycle all over again instead of just giving him six more months, see if he can rescue it off the back of finally getting a trophy, and then moving on. |

He's obviously a fine player but not sure we should be going for him now. He basically didn't play the first time he was here and our aim should be much higher now. |

There's a whole thread on it further down the page. |

The other option is we aren't able to move him on, aren't really going to play him and have to see out the rest of his contract, which, isn't going to be free. Lot of sense to allow it happen if we genuinely don't think we'll be able to get a fee from someone else. |
