 | News Comment | Blades Sack Selles Following Town Thrashing at 13:50:00
Hokey Cokey United. You put your Wilder in, your Wilder out, in, out, in, out, you shake it all about ... Personally, I'd like to see any sacked manager replaced with ones that let us beat them 5-0 each time. |
 | News Comment | International Round-Up at 11:59:21
Walle Egeli - Just what the fans wanted to see, and avoided injury too! Have to say I expected better from our Irish players considering they're team mates. That might go against them though at the moment considering our form. |
 | News Comment | Town Confirm 25-Man Squad at 11:35:11
Plenty of flexibility in that squad to move players into other positions if need be. Individual quality on paper much higher. Could you image if we were told we'd get this future squad & millions to spare when back in L1? We'd have taken it and sold both kidneys. Now just to get them all clicking like the last lot. Exciting times. In KM we trust. |
 | News Comment | Szmodics Out of Irish Squad Due to Injury at 10:08:21
We do have some right drama queens as fans, don't we? Drama, drama, drama! Like they thrive on it and need it to stay relevant in todays drama saturated world. Too many conspiracy theorists, too many experts, too many insiders, too many who have their opinions that no matter anyone says will never change, too many pessimists, too many emotionally connected to the players like they're blood relatives. Can we just hold off and see how the season goes and keep the drama to the TV for now? |
 | News Comment | Ashton: Window Was Tough at 10:54:35
Way too many experts in our fan base that base 100% negative opinions on a fraction of 1% of actual factual information. Even this interview won't convince them that they know nothing in comparison to MA & KM at what's going on in the club. Everyones entitled to an opinion but some are just best left not shared. Some are just entitled. Time will tell, but seems some want to moan no matter what. |
 | News Comment | Cáceres: I'd Have Liked to Join Town at 13:25:58
If we do go back for him in January, then MA will give them a masterclass and knock the price down even further, as by then Caceres will be wanting out. Plenty of other options in the team & Baggott more than capable and Furlong. Feel a bit sorry for Caceres though. |
 | News Comment | Cajuste: Town Culture Suits Me Perfectly at 10:47:06
Love Jens, Great guy and footballer. Honest, humble, hard working, skilled. If he says everything's good with the club, then I'm good with that. Sad change is happening as deep as it is, but needs to in order to compete. Wont keep the complainers and doom and gloom merchants happy though. "Trust in the process",. |
 | News Comment | Hutchinson Omitted From Forest's Europa League Squad at 08:58:49
I'm sensing a bit of bitterness from some fans. Might be wrong though. When McKenna got his birthday wish, fans were going crazy happy at having him here permanently. Now its "I don't care anymore". Can't fans be mature and just accept he did what he though was right, the way that worked for him, thank him for his service and move on? He's young, naive, ambitious, just like many of us were at that age. He'll learn, regret, be embarrassed in the future. Yeah, he left in circumstances most of us thought could have been handled differently, but that doesn't take away the fact that we wouldn't have been in the Prem in the first place if players like him hadn't got us there. He didn't try and upset you personally or the wider fans. Was golden boy, now enemy number 1 - the big meany. All a bit irrational to me to be sulking and holding grudges. We're better than that. We move on. |
 | News Comment | Walle Egeli: As Soon as My Agent Mentioned Ipswich I Wanted the Move at 11:09:35
Great signing, interview and attitude. For the moaning fans, just remember we're known for being a very welcoming club and that he's still only young and not to get on his back. Give him space and time to bed in before feeling you're entitled to do your nut at him if its not instantly working. I know some of you relish the buzz of having a pop at every opportunity "because you pay your money" and "were born and raised bleeding blue" etc, but if you value the club, give it a rest, at least for a good while. Everyone's entitled to their opinion, but wont help anyone by damaging him just so they can justify their moans. |
 | News Comment | Chaplin: The Best Four Years of My Life at 10:53:26
Big shock and very sad to see him go. Nostalgic and just because he's a lovey chap(pers) and a great footballer. Seems to have been frustrated at not scoring more. Losing his buddy pairing with Burns being sidelined hasn't helped. Lost his mojo and sharpness a bit this and last season. Hopefully he'll find it again at a familiar place he also loves and hopefully doesn't turn into a permanent move and he comes back firing on all 4 cylinders again. Sounds at the moment more of a goodbye, but if that were final, then I'd expect a sale and not a loan with recall & year extension. We'll see. Either way, I wish him well and thanks for the memories. Always a legend. |
 | News Comment | Woolfenden Completes Coventry Move at 13:47:02
We will all will miss the players who've taken us to the Prem. Understandably its a loss to us all & will be remembered fondly, but this knee jerk nostalgia driven attack on Ashton & McKenna & new players needs to stop, or you'll find out the hard way what its like to be without them too. A & McK got us there once, they'll do it again. Give them both credit for what they've done & see where it takes us. Give them all a chance to bed in. 2021 summer demolition with Cook, people going crazy, yet look at the players he brought in & McKenna too & what they helped do. The same ones some of you are crying over leaving now. |
 | News Comment | Chaplin's Portsmouth Loan Return Confirmed at 05:55:29
I love & will miss Chappers & we're all hurting one of our hero's has gone, but sentiment aside, from a footballing perspective & wanting to be an established Premiership team again that doesn't yo-yo, we all know the future isn't Chappers. He wanted to go, the club helped him, he wants his mojo back, it's a loan, he could be back in Jan. Lets see how he goes & we go before throwing our teddies out shall we? |
 | News Comment | Chaplin Set For Pompey Return at 20:49:19
Nooo! Not lil" Chappers! There must be a genuine reason we don't get to know yet, maybe Chappers wants to get some 1st team game time & sharpness & rebuild his confidence at somewhere he's got good memories & knows, with fans that'll support him, so he can come back in Jan at the top of his game. Can't think that its club or McKenna or Ashton wanting him out, hence loan with Jan recall, so supporting him. |

Nice guy, wish him well. Hope he goes on to be a hero for them. Good business for us and AAH. |
 | News Comment | Travis: Cajuste Tackle Totally Accidental at 13:21:02
Straight red. Frustratingly a retrospective ban or fine wont do us any good, other than justice, but might give other teams the advantage if he's sidelined. |
