| News Comment | Dyer Gifts Chesterfield Winner's Medal at 14:16:59
Think Cook is better than non-league to be fair, Bobble, & now shown it. Decent bloke & wish him congrats, as is Dyer. Had a rough time here but his squad demolition insistence is in a small part why we're in the lofty position we now are. Without signing the likes of Burns, Morsy, Walton, Hladky, Edmundson, Burgess & Chappers, what would KM now have to build around? |
| News Comment | Charlton Boss on Omitting Town Loanees at 21:32:45
Shot himself in the foot with those comments. When he needs loan players to fill gaps, which manager of another team is going to want to send them to Jones for further development? Which players will want to go? KM has the right attitude & look how our loans have been trusted to us & the part they've played in our success. KM has played it the right way. Ignorant & short sighted from Jones. |
| News Comment | McKenna: We're Pretty Stretched at 16:10:23
Whole injured squad including Burns was going crazy limbs on the bench after the Southampton win, so I'd hope they're back sooner rather than later for them all. |
| News Comment | Town Dismiss 400 Staff Tickets Claim at 13:23:07
Not sure I agree with the idea that if "regular fans" & not staff, family & friends had 200 more tickets it would have improved performances or atmosphere, personally. I think if my nan or a mate or the staff I see and work with regularly were there, I'd play just as well if not better for them than a loyal, noisy fan instead. With the possible exception of corporate hospitality allocations, I suspect they're just as much fans & loyal as the rest of us anyway, if not more. Some of those freebies may well turn into millions of pounds contracts or attract better players or give deserving supporters a chance that might not otherwise get in. Lets give the club some trust & respect & until proven otherwise assume it's in all our best interests. There are far worse owners & clubs than ours doing much dodgier things. |
| News Comment | McKenna: Burns Scan News Positive at 09:38:16
If Wes's celebration against the last minute goals Vs Southampton is anything to go by, he's already ready for a return. |
| News Comment | Ipswich Town 3-2 Southampton - Extended Highlights at 13:54:35
Chappers face @ 10 mins 2 seconds starting to run across the field with his jacket on after being subbed to celebrate with team mates knowing he'd get a yellow card sums up the passion & spirit of this team. Top class team! |
| News Comment | McKenna: We'll Have to See How Kieffer is Over the Next Few Days at 13:43:58
Moore will be a loss if not fit, with others like Burns and Hirst out too. Sarmiento, Taylor & Broady made a strong impact going forward yesterday so we still have plenty of attacking options if Moore isn't fit for the derby. Sarmiento said afterwards on Sky sports something along the lines that he was a bit miffed at not being a starter, so maybe that'll happen at some point, then again he had the impact KM wanted as a sub, so hardly a bad decision to save his legs for later in the game. Hutch is having an impact from starting now rather than just a sub, so maybe its Sarmientos time to do the same. KM does use fast players like Jackson to wear the opposition down so that Sarmiento can have fresh impact energy. |
| News Comment | Town Announce Season Ticket Prices at 13:22:04
Considering the amount & quality of play and goals at home this season, I think we've all had our moneys worth. If its same again next season in the Championship or dare we dream, the Prem & the likes of seeing Haaland at PR, then well worth the extra cost. |
