There were positives. We completely outplayed them in the first half. If it wasn't for the dope in goal we'd have gone in 1 or 2 up at half time and been in complete control.
Yes, the last 30 minutes was awful. But don't let the result or that 30 minutes cloud your memory. We're all disappointed but the most important thing is that when the players come out at Coventry tomorrow, we're all 100% behind them. |

Although they need to win to stand any chance of qualifying, even a huge win isn't likely to help them
We can safely assume that Slovenia will win in San Marino (50/1 chance that they don't) so Northern Ireland need to win by 5 more goals than Slovenia win by.
The Irish winning by 5 or more would be a 1000/1 shot, so you're looking at a minimum of 50,000/1. And then you need Slovenia to lose in Slovakia (About evens). Even then, Poland could overhaul them, although not likely.
If they manage that though, its easy. A play off against the likes of France, Russia, Republic of Ireland etc
You can safely say that they are 500,000/1 to reach South Africa.
