Thanks for your suggestions. Builders are now going to repair the floor and paint the downstairs wall.I am still not sure about the internal damage - they are saying nothing to worry about but can't trust them. It seems the leakage was for a shorter duration - perhaps, 4 to 5 hours (to be honest, I am just assuming based on my bathroom visits and what I noticed). |

Thanks. Yes, it is under warranty. But I don't know what to ask them eg just to change the flooring and superficial decoration or something inside as well to check the level of damage? Please let me know. Thanks |

Hi,
This is my 4th week in a new build house. Water started leaking in the bathroom - it was visible on the floor (karndean) and downstairs walls. Plumber came and fixed the leak (which was in the bathtub). Now, the upstairs floor is becoming puffy at some places. I don't understand these structural issues and need your help. Could you please let me know what exactly should I ask them to replace/check as this is a new build eg flooring, wall painting. I am worried about the inside eg wood inside, insulation - anything can be done? Please help.
