Another thing I noticed was that the players came on the coach. Is that a new thing, pretty sure they used to make their own way there in the past. |

Last time I went, the away end was lower than pitch level, so if you were at the front which we were your head was only about three foot above the turf. Great for the near box, but not so good at seeing what was going on anywhere near the other area. That was early 90's mind, so maybe things have changed. [Post edited 3 Feb 2023 11:19]

Apologies for the slight clickbaity title, but was thinking do you reckon the team/squad might stay up in the midlands after the game tonight and then go onto Shrewsbury? Would mean earlier finish tonight and Shrewsbury away is a fair distance to go to and from in the same week. Maybe if it had been a Wednesday kick off they would have. |

what are the chances of them reaching silver membership do you reckon? Evening game, not a new ground, so from a selfish point of view, I'm hoping gold and season tickets don't grab them all. |

yep agree, I was there too. Didn't know what to expect, and was kind of preparing myself to see a group of old men going through a couple of dozen brilliant songs, like they had millions of times and to have left having enjoyed it but left with the feeling god, I wished I'd seen them 20 years ago.
Thought they were absolutely superb. They were obviously loving it, and playing with each other. Was genuinely one of the best gigs, and most enjoyable and heart warming ones I've ever been to. We threw a bit of money at it, and got in the section at the front, which I'm very glad we did.
