As much as I'd love Harry I just can't see it. He's got nothing to prove and in his 60's, why would he come to town in all honesty? As for Jewell , clearly his time is up and even he has admitted as much in his interview, but i have a degree if sympathy with him. I didn't go today, but did wednesday night and although he has made errors (poor defence too short etc etc) the players take zero responsibility. Jewell has shown a lot of faith and good man management with chopra but it's been thrown back in his face. He also pulled Martin back from exile, only for him to try things like that ridiculous flick on the halfway line (wear pink boots). Jet is an enigma and even cresswell looked off the pace (money has turned his head). I have no faith whatsoever in the modern day footballer, they couldn't care less. |

Can't believe people on here don't think he's been given a chance! One good game, when he showed what he was capable of against Arsenal, and even that night he needed 4 chances to get on scoresheet. Whenever I watched him he appeared lazy and dis-interested. Huge waste of money, in fact I'd say our worst ever when you take into account the ridiculous transfer fee. |

Hardly seen Murray play, as he has never really had a sniff of first team football, but surely we should keep him on the books. Season long loan has got to be the answer. I'm not sure about Jewell, but he's being backed in the window so I can't see him going until May at least. Even if Evans did decide to get rid Curbishley and Burley aren't names that spring to mind as replacements. Also don't reckon Warnock would want the hassle. |
