If I had a fiver for every time Hyam went backwards or gave away possession too easily 'I' could probably buy MM a midfielder to pull our strings. Luke ain't up to it, we can all see it, but Mr Evans has got to finally repay MM with a solid midfielder who is comfortable on the ball and can turn the opposition and distribute quickly and accurately - someone who can make town tick... or we're gonna start to get found out... |

All 'talk' and 'media' have turned too many people in the game into sycophants, so be weary of those that are 'full of it' - talk is cheap these days, and so is ostensible enthusiasm. I'd rather that the next man to rule over Portman Road be considered, thorough, genuine, and have a deeper understanding of running a football club, with a good philosophy for firm but fare nurturing of talent. Hmmm...can't say i've ever heard anyone call Sir Alex Ferguson or Arsene Wenger enthusistic, but then I wouldn't take fools gladly...and neither do they... and more the point, neither does Alan Curbishely! |

Whether we get 3 points tonight or not though, anyone with a brain can see that Keane is having to re-build a mediocre squad. ...they've spent a couple of seasons developing and settling Priskin in and he has just come good... looking at the Youtube clips he does actually look like what we've been missing... Rhodes for £850,000? Counago for £500,000?? and Lisbie for a couple of jazz mags and a 4-pack of stella??? then we eventually get a striker for £1.5M who is chomping at the bit and proven at this level???? and another one in the pipeline????? Sounds like good management to me... Go get him Roy ;-) |
